2. Key Features

  • Optical Principle Precision Test: Utilizes an optical principle to check engine oil condition, providing accurate results.
  • Digital Display: 2.8-inch backlit LCD screen for clear display of results, readable in bright daylight or dim nighttime.
  • Sound Alarm: Alerts the user when oil transmittance falls below 30%, indicating an immediate need for oil change.
  • Oil Temperature Measurement: Built-in temperature sensor measures and displays actual oil temperature in °C or °F, reflecting engine operational status.
  • Wide Compatibility: Suitable for the majority of gasoline and diesel engine lubricant oils.
  • Flexible Hose Probe: An 800mm long probe made of PTFE material, highly resistant to oil and oxidation, for convenient testing.
  • User-Friendly Handheld Design: Silicone-lined for excellent grip and lightweight for single-handed operation.

3. Safety Information and Cautions

Please read and understand the following safety information before using the AUTOOL AS503 Engine Oil Tester.

  • Oil Extraction: In cases where the oil filler cap of certain vehicle models does not allow direct insertion of the testing probe, it is necessary to extract a portion of the engine oil from the vehicle before conducting the test.
  • Incompatible Substances: This product relies on optical detection probes to analyze the particulate content in oil. As a result, it is not suitable for analyzing automotive engine oils containing components such as molybdenum disulfide (MoS₂), organic molybdenum, graphene, and similar substances.
Caution: If the oil filler cap does not allow direct probe insertion, extract oil for testing.
