1. Product Overview
The PGST PB-67R is a multi-functional wireless intelligent door/window magnetic detector designed to enhance home security. It features an ultra-low power chip design, low-voltage fault monitoring, and functions for dis-assembly and damage prevention. This sensor is compatible with 433MHz alarm systems using the eV1527 encoding format and 330K Ω resistance. It detects illegal door prying and window entry by transmitting an alarm signal when its two magnetic parts are separated beyond a certain distance.

2. Important Compatibility Notice
This sensor cannot be used independently. It must be connected to a compatible alarm host system. Ensure your alarm host meets the following specifications for proper functionality:
- Frequency: 433MHz
- IC (Encoding Format): eV1527
- Resistance: 330K Ω
This sensor is designed to work seamlessly with PGST alarm hosts. If using with a host from another manufacturer, verify these compatibility conditions.
3. Setup and Installation
3.1 Battery Installation
The sensor operates on a DC3V button battery. Ensure the battery is correctly inserted into the main transmitter unit before installation.
3.2 Pairing with Alarm Host
To integrate the sensor into your alarm system, you must pair it with the alarm host. The exact steps may vary slightly depending on your alarm host model, but generally involve:
- Access the 'Learning' or 'Add Device' menu on your alarm host.
- Trigger the door/window sensor by separating its two parts. The alarm host should detect the signal and display a confirmation (e.g., "Learning OK").
- Assign the sensor to a specific zone (e.g., "Door 1", "Window 2") as prompted by your alarm host.
3.3 Physical Installation
The sensor consists of two parts: a main transmitter unit and a magnetic stripe. These should be mounted on the door/window frame and the moving part of the door/window, respectively. Ensure they are aligned and within the specified triggering distance.
- Mount the main transmitter unit on the fixed part of the door/window frame.
- Mount the magnetic stripe on the moving part of the door/window (e.g., the door itself, or the window sash).
- Ensure the two parts are aligned and the gap between them is within the 25-35mm triggering distance when the door/window is closed.

4. Operation
Once installed and paired, the sensor will monitor the status of your door or window. When the alarm system is armed, any separation of the sensor's two parts will trigger an alarm.
- Alarm Trigger: If the door or window is opened while the system is armed, the sensor will send a signal to the alarm host.
- Notifications: The alarm host will then initiate its programmed responses, which may include sounding a siren, calling/sending SMS to registered phone numbers, and pushing notifications to your mobile application.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Battery Replacement
The sensor monitors its battery voltage. When the voltage drops to approximately 2.2±0.2V, the sensor will report a low battery status to the alarm host. Replace the DC3V button battery promptly when a low battery alert is received to ensure continuous protection.
5.2 Cleaning
Wipe the sensor periodically with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and debris. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the device.
6. Troubleshooting
- Sensor not triggering alarm:
- Check battery level and replace if necessary.
- Ensure the two sensor parts are aligned correctly and the gap is within 25-35mm when closed.
- Verify the sensor is properly paired with the alarm host. Re-pair if unsure.
- No app notifications:
- Confirm your alarm host is connected to the internet.
- Check the settings in your alarm system's mobile application to ensure notifications are enabled.
- Verify the alarm host is correctly configured to send notifications for the specific sensor zone.
- Incompatibility with alarm host:
- Double-check that your alarm host operates at 433MHz, uses eV1527 encoding, and has a 330K Ω resistance. If not, the sensor will not be compatible.

8. User Tips
- Battery Type: The sensor uses a standard button battery (DC3V). Keep a spare on hand for quick replacement when low battery alerts occur.
- Compatibility Check: Before purchasing, always confirm that your existing alarm system's frequency (433MHz), IC type (eV1527), and resistance (330K Ω) match the sensor's specifications to avoid compatibility issues.
- Optimal Placement: For best performance, ensure the sensor's two parts are mounted securely and remain within the 25-35mm triggering distance when the door or window is closed.
