4. Installation and Setup
4.1. CPU Installation
Follow these steps carefully to install your LGA 1151 CPU:
- Press down on the lever and lift it.
- Open the CPU cover.
- Align the triangle symbols on the CPU and the socket, then gently place the CPU into the socket.
- Remove the CPU plastic cover.
- Align the groove with the screw hole and lower the lever to secure the CPU.
Important Considerations:
- Do not touch CPU contacts with your hands.
- Do not touch CPU pins on the motherboard.
4.2. Memory (RAM) Installation
The motherboard supports DDR4 dual-channel memory. Install DDR4 modules into the two available slots.
- Ensure memory modules are DDR4 type.
- Align the notch on the memory module with the key in the slot.
- Press down firmly on both ends of the memory module until the clips snap into place.
- Maximum capacity is 32GB (16GB per slot).
- Supported frequencies are 1866/2133/2400MHz. While higher frequency modules (2666/3000/3200MHz) may be used, they will operate at a maximum of 2400MHz.
- Note: Use international brands like Samsung, Kingston, Sandee, Micron, Hynix for best compatibility.
4.3. M.2 SSD Installation
The motherboard features a convertible M.2 slot supporting both NVME and NGFF (SATA) protocols. The default mode is NVME.
- Insert the M.2 SSD into the slot at an angle.
- Gently push down the SSD and secure it with the provided screw.
- The M.2 slot supports 2280 form factor SSDs.
- The NVME specification is PCIe 2.0 x4.

5. Operating Instructions
Once all components are correctly installed and connected, you can power on your system. Ensure your power supply unit (PSU) meets the minimum requirements for stable operation.
- Power Supply: This motherboard requires a powerful power supply. Ensure your PSU is at least 500W from a reputable brand for stable operation.
- BIOS/UEFI Setup: Access the BIOS/UEFI settings during boot-up (usually by pressing DEL or F2) to configure system settings, boot order, and other advanced options.
- Driver Installation: After installing your operating system, install the necessary drivers for the chipset, LAN, audio, and any other integrated components from the manufacturer's website or provided media.
6. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your motherboard:
- Keep Clean: Regularly clean dust from the motherboard and other components using compressed air. Ensure the system is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
- Ventilation: Ensure adequate airflow within your PC case to prevent overheating.
- BIOS Updates: Periodically check the manufacturer's website for BIOS/UEFI updates. Update only if necessary and follow instructions carefully.
- Component Compatibility: When adding new components, always verify compatibility with the H110 chipset and LGA 1151 socket.
7. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter:
- No Power/No Boot:
- Check all power connections (24-pin ATX, 8-pin CPU).
- Ensure the power supply is sufficient (at least 500W recommended).
- Verify that the CPU, RAM, and graphics card (if dedicated) are properly seated.
- CPU Pin Bending/Damage:
Before delivery, motherboards undergo strict testing. If you suspect CPU pin damage, especially if the system fails to boot or is unstable, inspect the CPU socket carefully. It is recommended to record an unboxing video for personal rights protection.
Figure 10: CPU Socket Pin Condition (Abnormal vs. Normal). - Fan Speed Control:
Some users have reported issues with PWM fan speed control or software not reading RPMs. Check your BIOS/UEFI settings for fan control options. If no settings are available, the fan might operate at a fixed speed or be controlled by basic voltage regulation (DC mode) rather than PWM.
- Memory Incompatibility:
If the system fails to boot or experiences instability after RAM installation, ensure you are using compatible DDR4 memory modules from reputable international brands. Try testing with a single RAM stick if you have multiple.
8. User Tips
- Power Supply: Always ensure your power supply is robust enough for your system, especially when using a dedicated graphics card. A minimum of 500W from a reliable brand is recommended for this motherboard.
- CPU Installation: Be extremely careful during CPU installation to avoid bending pins. Refer to the detailed diagram in Section 4.1.
- Fan Control: If you require precise fan speed control, verify if your CPU fan supports PWM and if the motherboard's BIOS offers corresponding settings. Some fans may operate without software RPM readings.
