3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Connecting to Your Radio

The SenHaix Shoulder Microphone is available with two types of connectors: K-head and Type-C. Ensure you have the correct version for your radio.

  • SHX-MIC-K01 (K-head connector): Compatible with radios such as Baofeng, Quansheng, and Senhaix K-head machines (e.g., UV-5R, BF-888S, UV-K5, UV-K6, MD-UV380, TH-UV8000D, KG-UV9Dplus).
  • SHX-MIC-TPC01 (Type-C connector): Compatible with radios featuring a Type-C plug, such as Senhaix GT-12, Anysecu POC radio W8/G6, and other compatible Type-C devices.

To connect, simply insert the microphone's connector plug firmly into the corresponding port on your two-way radio.

3.2 Attaching the Microphone Hook

The microphone comes with a slot-type hook for convenient attachment to clothing, vehicle hooks, or other suitable surfaces.

  1. Identify the mounting location for the microphone hook.

  3. The round back buckle of the microphone can then be hung onto this hook.

4.1 Push-to-Talk (PTT) Function

The large button on the side of the microphone is the PTT button. Press and hold this button to transmit your voice, and release it to listen for incoming transmissions.

Rotate the Volume knob located at the top of the microphone to adjust the audio output level.

4.3 LED Light Functions

The microphone features a multi-functional LED light array:

  • Burst Flashing Signal Lamp: The microphone is equipped with a burst flashing signal lamp for visibility or signaling.
  • Adjustable Brightness: Use the "Brightness +" (up arrow) and "Brightness -" (down arrow) buttons to adjust the light's intensity across 5 different gears.
  • SOS Alarm Call: To activate the SOS alarm, long press the Light Switch button when the red and blue warning lights are flashing. Adjust the volume of the alarm sound using the Volume knob.
