Setup
The HTZSAFE Wireless Doorbell is designed for quick and easy plug-and-play installation.
Doorbell Button (Transmitter) Installation
- Battery Installation: The doorbell button requires one 23A 12V Alkaline battery (not included in some packages). Open the battery compartment on the back of the doorbell button and insert the battery, observing polarity. The battery is designed for a 3-year lifespan.
- Attach Adhesive: Clean the desired mounting surface for the doorbell button. Peel off the protective film from the adhesive tape provided and firmly attach it to the back of the doorbell button.
- Place Doorbell Button: Press the doorbell button firmly onto the cleaned surface at your desired location (e.g., beside your front door). Ensure it is within the operating range of the receiver.
Wireless Receiver Installation
- Plug In: Simply plug the wireless receiver into any standard electrical outlet indoors.

Component Overview

Wireless Receiver Controls:
- Volume Control: Located on the side, allows adjustment of the sound level.

Adjusting Volume and Chime
- Volume Levels: The receiver offers 5 adjustable volume levels. Use the Volume Control button on the side of the receiver to cycle through the levels until you find your preferred loudness.
- Chime Selection: Choose from 35 pleasant chimes. Press the Tone Control button on the side of the receiver to cycle through the available melodies.
- Matching Chimes: You can match different chimes with different doorbell buttons or sensors if you have multiple HTZSAFE devices. Refer to the pairing instructions below for details.
Pairing Additional Transmitters (If applicable)
If you have additional doorbell buttons or HTZSAFE sensors, you can pair them with your receiver:
- Plug in the receiver.
- Press and hold the Setting Button on the receiver for approximately 3-5 seconds until the indicator light flashes rapidly.
- Within 10 seconds, press the doorbell button (transmitter) you wish to pair. The receiver will chime to confirm successful pairing.
- Repeat for any additional transmitters.


Maintenance
Battery Replacement (Doorbell Button)
When the doorbell button's indicator light no longer illuminates or the range decreases significantly, it's time to replace the battery. The doorbell button uses one 23A 12V Alkaline battery. To replace:
- Carefully remove the doorbell button from its mounting surface.
- Open the battery compartment on the back.
- Remove the old battery and insert a new 23A 12V Alkaline battery, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the compartment and re-mount the doorbell button.
Cleaning
To clean your doorbell components, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish or internal components. Keep the devices dry and away from excessive moisture.
