2. Safety Information

3.1 Wiring Connections (Refer to Figure 3, 'Mode of connection')

Connect the receiver to your 4-wire motor and power supply as follows:

  • Red Wire: Live (L)
  • White Wire: Neutral (N)
  • Black Wire: Up (Motor Up command)
  • Brown Wire: Down (Motor Down command)
  • Green/Yellow Wire: Earth (Ground)

Ensure all connections are secure and insulated.

3.2 Installation Distance (Refer to Figure 3, 'The best installation distance')

For optimal performance, observe the recommended installation distances:

  • Outdoor Control Range: Up to 200 meters (unobstructed).
  • Indoor Control Range: Up to 35 meters (through walls/obstacles).
  • Avoid installing the receiver near large metal objects or other sources of electromagnetic interference.

4. Operation and Pairing

The DC73A receiver is controlled by a compatible DOOYA remote control. Follow these steps to pair a remote control and set motor limits or functions.

4.1 Setting Up (Pairing a Remote - Refer to Figure 3, 'Setting up')

  1. Power Off: Disconnect power to the receiver.
  2. Power On: Reconnect power to the receiver.
  3. Press P2 Button: On your remote control, press the P2 button once. The motor should run for 1 second.
  4. Press P2 Again: Press the P2 button on the remote control again. The motor should run for 1 second.
  5. Press P2 Three Times: Press the P2 button on the remote control three times. The motor should run for 10 seconds.
  6. Press P2 Seven Times: Press the P2 button on the remote control seven times. The motor will continuously work (this may be a factory reset or continuous run mode).
  7. Confirm: Press the 'OK' button on the remote to confirm the setting.

4.2 Adding an Emitter (Remote Control - Refer to Figure 3, 'Add Emitter')

To add another remote control (emitter) to the receiver:

  1. Power Off: Disconnect power to the receiver.
  2. Power On: Reconnect power to the receiver.
  3. Press P2 on Existing Remote: Press the P2 button on an already paired remote control once. The motor should run for 1 second.
  4. Press P2 on New Remote: Press the P2 button on the new remote control you wish to pair. The motor should run for 1 second.
  5. Confirm: Press the 'OK' button on the new remote to confirm pairing.

4.3 Light Adjust Function (Refer to Figure 3, 'Light adjust function')

This function may be used for adjusting motor limits or specific light settings if applicable to your motor system.

  1. Power Off: Disconnect power to the receiver.
  2. Power On: Reconnect power to the receiver.
  3. Press P2 Button: Press the P2 button on the remote control once. The motor should run for 1 second.
  4. Press P2 Three Times: Press the P2 button on the remote control three times. The motor should run for 10 seconds.
  5. Confirm: Press the 'OK' button on the remote. The light adjust function is now active.

4.4 Cancelling an Emitter (Refer to Figure 3, 'Cancel Emitter')

To remove a paired remote control from the receiver:

  1. Power Off: Disconnect power to the receiver.
  2. Power On: Reconnect power to the receiver.
  3. Press P2 Button: Press the P2 button on the remote control once. The motor should run for 1 second.
  4. Press P2 Seven Times: Press the P2 button on the remote control seven times. The motor will continuously work.
  5. Confirm: Press the 'OK' button on the remote to confirm cancellation.
