3. Controls and Ports
Familiarize yourself with the buttons and ports on your MLOVE BV810 speaker:
Top Control Panel Functions:
- (1) Power knob switch / Volume control: Rotate clockwise to 'ON' to power on. The display will light up. Rotate clockwise to increase volume, counter-clockwise to decrease.
- (2) Next Track / Quick Forward: Short press to play the next track (music mode). Long press for more than 2 seconds for quick forward (valid in TF card/USB disk mode). In FM radio mode, short press to play the next stored station, long press to semi-search the next station.
- (3) Play / Pause: Short press to play or pause music. In Bluetooth mode, long press to disconnect Bluetooth. In FM radio mode, short press to mute on/off.
- (4) Previous Track / Quick Backward: Short press to play the previous track (music mode). Long press for more than 2 seconds for quick backward (valid in TF card/USB disk mode). In FM radio mode, short press to play the previous stored station, long press to semi-search the previous station.
- (5) Cycle Key: Short press to switch between 'Loop All', 'Single Loop', 'Shuffle Playback', and 'Menu Loop' (valid in TF card/USB disk music playback mode).
- (6) FM Radio Function Switch: Short press to switch to FM radio mode. Long press for more than 2 seconds to search the radio station automatically and clear previously recorded stations.
- (7) M Key (Mode Switch): Short press to switch between Bluetooth, Micro SD card mode, and USB disk mode. Double click M button to access the mode function menu. Use previous/next track buttons to select, short press M to confirm, long press M to cancel/return.
- (8) AB Repeating: Short press to set point A, short press again to set point B, and start A-B loop playback. Long press to quit the AB repeating function.
- (9) Record / Replay: Short press to start recording, short press again to pause and save the recording. Long press to replay the recording. A TF card or USB disk must be inserted for recording.
- (10) Lock Key: Long press to lock the keys. Long press again to release.
- (11) Number Keys 0-9: Use these keys to select a specific song or saved radio station by entering its digital number.
Side Ports Functions:
- (12) USB Type-C Cable Charging: Connect a DC-5V-1A USB adaptor for charging.
- (13) Earphone Port: Connect 3.5mm earphones for private listening.
- (14) USB Port: Insert a USB disk containing MP3, WMA, WAV format files for playback.
- (15) TF Card Slot: Insert a TF card containing MP3, WMA, WAV format files for playback.
4. Operation
4.1 Power On/Off and Volume Control
- Power On: Rotate the power knob (1) clockwise to the 'ON' position. The LCD display will light up.
- Power Off: Rotate the power knob (1) counter-clockwise to the 'OFF' position.
- Volume Adjustment: Rotate the power knob (1) clockwise to increase volume, and counter-clockwise to decrease volume.
4.2 Bluetooth Mode
- Connecting:
- Turn on the speaker.
- Short press the 'M' button (7) to cycle through modes until 'Bluetooth' is selected, or double-click 'M' to enter the main menu, select 'Bluetooth', and short press 'M' to confirm.
- On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for 'BV810'.
- Select 'BV810' to pair. The speaker will announce "Bluetooth connected" once paired successfully.
- Hands-free Calling: When connected via Bluetooth, incoming calls can be answered with a short press of the Play/Pause button (3). The built-in 360° omnidirectional HD microphone ensures clear communication.
- Disconnection: Long press the Play/Pause button (3) to disconnect the current Bluetooth device.
- Reconnection: If disconnected, a short press of the Play/Pause button (3) will attempt to reconnect to the last paired device.
4.3 FM Radio Mode
- Entering FM Mode: Short press the FM radio function switch button (6).
- Automatic Search: Long press the FM radio function switch button (6) for more than 2 seconds to automatically search for and store available radio stations. This will clear any previously recorded stations.
- Manual/Semi-automatic Search: In FM mode, use the Previous Track (4) or Next Track (2) buttons to navigate through stored stations. Long press these buttons to perform a semi-automatic search.
- Direct Frequency Input: Use the Number Keys 0-9 (11) to directly input a radio frequency (e.g., 97.1).
- Mute: Short press the Play/Pause button (3) to mute or unmute the FM radio.
4.4 Music Playback (Micro SD Card / USB Disk)
- Insert Storage: Insert a Micro SD card into the TF Card Slot (15) or a USB disk into the USB Port (14). Ensure files are in MP3, WMA, or WAV format.
- Select Mode: Short press the 'M' button (7) to switch to Micro SD card mode or USB disk mode.
- Playback: Use the Play/Pause button (3) to play or pause. Use Previous Track (4) and Next Track (2) to skip tracks.
- Loop Modes: Short press the Cycle Key (5) to switch between 'Loop All', 'Single Loop', 'Shuffle Playback', and 'Menu Loop'.
- Direct Song Selection: Use the Number Keys 0-9 (11) to directly select a song by its number.
4.5 Recording Function
- Preparation: Ensure a Micro SD card or USB disk is inserted into the speaker.
- Enter Recording Mode: Double-click the 'M' button (7) to enter the main menu, select 'REC', and short press 'M' to confirm. Alternatively, short press the Record button (9) for quick access.
- Start/Pause Recording: Short press the Record button (9) to start recording. Short press again to pause.
- Save Recording: While recording is paused, short press the 'M' button (7) to save the recording.
- Replay Recording: Long press the Record button (9) to replay the last saved recording.
4.6 PC Connection / Card Reader / USB Sound Card
- Charging: Connect the USB Type-C charging/data cable to the DC 5V port (12) on the speaker and to a DC-5V-1A USB adaptor or a computer's USB port.
- Card Reader Function: Connect the USB Type-C charging/data cable to the DC 5V port (12) on the speaker and to your computer. The speaker will act as a card reader, allowing you to copy files to/from the inserted TF card.
- USB Sound Card Function: Connect the USB Type-C charging/data cable to the DC 5V port (12) on the speaker and to your computer. Double-click the 'M' button (7) to enter the main menu, select 'PC connecting', and short press 'M' to confirm. Your computer should recognize the speaker as an audio output device.
