4. Setup and Installation

5.4 Scheduling and Smart Scenes

Automate your lighting with schedules and smart scenes:

• Schedules: Set specific times for the bulb to turn on/off, adjust brightness, color temperature, or color. For example, a warm light at 7 PM, a preset scene at 10 PM, and turn off at 11 PM.
• Smart Scenes: Create custom automation rules. For instance, the light can turn on automatically when a door sensor (sold separately) detects the door opening. You can customize brightness, color temperature, and preset scenes within these smart scenes.

5.5 Rhythm Live (Music Sync)

Experience immersive lighting with the Rhythm Live feature. When connected to your local area network (LAN), your smartphone's microphone can recognize music, and up to 10 bulbs can change colors in sync with the music rhythm. 5.6 eWeLink-Remote Control

6. Maintenance

  • Check your WiFi network. Ensure it's 2.4GHz (5GHz is not supported by most smart bulbs).
  • Make sure your phone is close to the bulb and your WiFi router during pairing.
  • Restart your router and try again.
• Bulb offline in app:
  • Check your WiFi connection.
  • Ensure the bulb has constant power.
  • Restart the bulb by turning it off and on.
  • If the issue persists, try re-pairing the bulb.
• Voice control not working:
  • Verify that your eWeLink account is correctly linked to Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
  • Check the device name in the eWeLink app and ensure it's recognized by your voice assistant.
  • Ensure your voice assistant device is online and functioning correctly.
• Light flickering or unresponsive:
  • Check for loose connections in the light socket.
  • Ensure the bulb is not in an enclosed fixture that might cause overheating.
  • If using a dimmer switch, ensure it is compatible with smart LED bulbs or bypass it if possible, as the bulb has its own dimming capabilities.

8. User Tips

• Optimal Placement: For best WiFi connectivity, place the bulb within a reasonable range of your WiFi router.
• Scene Customization: Experiment with different color and brightness settings to create personalized scenes for various activities like movie night, reading, or relaxation.
• Energy Saving: Utilize the scheduling feature to automatically turn off lights when not needed, further enhancing the energy-saving benefits of the LED bulb. The bulb consumes only 9.9 kWh per year, contributing to lower electricity costs.
• Music Sync Experience: For the best Rhythm Live experience, ensure your smartphone is close to the music source and the bulbs are within the same LAN.
