Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to install and set up your SONOFF LED smart bulb.
1. Install the Device
Safety First: To prevent electric shock, ensure the power supply is turned OFF before installing the bulb.
The bulb features a standard lamp screw base (E27 for A60 models, E26 for A19 models) and a lampshade heatsink.
2. Download the App
Download the "eWeLink" application, available for both Android™ and iOS devices.
3. Power On and Initial Pairing
Upon powering on the bulb for the first time, it will automatically enter Bluetooth Pairing mode, indicated by a "breathing mode" light effect (slow pulsing light).
This mode lasts for 3 minutes. If pairing is not completed within this time, the device will exit pairing mode.
To re-enter Bluetooth Pairing Mode: With the light on, press the manual switch three times repeatedly at approximately 1-second intervals (Off-ON-Off-ON-Off-ON). The light will return to "breathing mode".
4. Add the Device to the App
Open the eWeLink app, tap the "+" icon, and select "Bluetooth Pairing". Follow the on-screen prompts.
Compatible Pairing Mode:
If Bluetooth Pairing fails, try "Compatible Pairing Mode":
- With the light on, press the light switch five times repeatedly at approximately 1-second intervals (Off-ON-Off-ON-Off-ON-Off-ON-Off-ON). The bulb will indicate entry into this mode with a "quick flash" (rapidly changing brightness).
- In the eWeLink app, tap "+" and select "Compatible Pairing Mode".
- For Android users: Enter your Wi-Fi password and tap "Next". Wait for the pairing process to complete.
- For iOS users: Enter your Wi-Fi password, tap "Next", then tap "Connect". Select the Wi-Fi network named "ITEAD-******" and enter the password "12345678". Then, return to the eWeLink app and tap "Next". Wait for pairing to complete.
Usage as an Ordinary Bulb
If the bulb is powered on and not paired within 10 seconds, it will revert to a solid warm light at maximum brightness, functioning like a standard incandescent bulb.
Switching Network / Factory Reset
To change Wi-Fi network: Press the light switch three times repeatedly at approximately 1-second intervals (Off-ON-Off-ON-Off-ON) when the light is on. The device will enter "breathing mode", allowing you to re-pair it with a new network.
Factory Reset: Deleting the device from the eWeLink app automatically restores it to its factory settings.
