Equipped with a high-efficiency brushless motor.

Digital technology provides stepless forward and reverse speed control.

The trolling handle features a 400mm length extension and can fold up to 180 degrees.

Integrated power display shows three levels of battery charge.

The motor offers 10 or 7 levels of tilting positions for optimal depth adjustment.
3. Setup and Installation
- Mounting: Securely attach the trolling motor to the boat's transom using the integrated transom mount bracket. Ensure the clamps are tightened firmly to prevent movement during operation.

Figure 7: Transom mount bracket - Battery Connection: Connect the motor's power cables to a 12V deep cycle battery (1 x 105AH suggested, not included). Ensure correct polarity (red to positive, black to negative) and secure connections to prevent arcing.
- Depth Adjustment: Adjust the motor shaft depth using the depth collar to ensure the propeller is submerged sufficiently to avoid cavitation but not so deep as to hit obstacles.
- Tilting Adjustment: Use the tilting mechanism to set the motor angle. This allows for fine-tuning propeller depth and angle relative to the water.
- Handle Adjustment: Extend the tiller handle to a comfortable operating length (up to 400mm) and adjust the folding angle as needed.

4. Operating Instructions
- Power On: Once the motor is securely mounted and connected to the battery, ensure the propeller is clear of any obstructions.
- Speed Control: Use the tiller handle to control the speed. The digital stepless control allows for smooth acceleration and deceleration in both forward and reverse directions.
- Steering: Rotate the tiller handle to steer the boat. The 360° lockable steering allows for precise directional control.
- Battery Monitoring: Regularly check the 3-level battery power display on the motor head to monitor battery status and avoid unexpected power loss.
- Tilting: When navigating shallow waters or beaching, use the tilting feature to raise the motor out of the water to prevent damage.
5. Maintenance
- After Each Use: Rinse the motor with fresh water, especially after use in saltwater, to prevent corrosion.
- Propeller Inspection: Regularly check the propeller for weeds, fishing lines, or damage. Clear any obstructions and replace damaged propellers immediately.
- Battery Care: Keep the battery terminals clean and free of corrosion. Ensure the battery is fully charged after each use and stored in a cool, dry place.
- Shaft and Mount: Inspect the shaft and transom mount for any signs of wear, damage, or loose connections. Tighten all fasteners as necessary.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, disconnect the motor from the battery and store it in a dry, protected area.
6. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Motor not running | Loose battery connection, discharged battery, blown fuse | Check battery connections, charge battery, inspect/replace fuse. |
| Reduced power/speed | Low battery charge, propeller fouled with weeds/line, damaged propeller | Charge battery, clear propeller, replace damaged propeller. |
| Excessive vibration/noise | Bent propeller, loose propeller nut, foreign object in propeller | Inspect propeller for damage, tighten propeller nut, remove obstructions. |
| Steering difficulty | Loose steering mechanism, debris obstructing movement | Check and tighten steering components, clear any obstructions. |

8. User Tips
- Always ensure the motor is fully submerged to avoid air cavitation and maximize efficiency.
- For optimal battery life, use a high-quality deep cycle marine battery and avoid fully discharging it.
- When operating in strong currents or windy conditions, use higher speed settings for better control.
- Regularly check the propeller for any debris, as even small obstructions can significantly reduce performance and drain battery faster.
- Consider carrying a spare propeller and the necessary tools for quick replacement in case of damage.
