Q&A image regarding 4K resolution issues.

Troubleshooting common 4K resolution issues.

Q: Why did I order a 4K resolution monitor and connect it to my computer without achieving 4K resolution?

  1. Device Compatibility: Please confirm if your computer device and its interface support connecting to a 4K monitor. Not all devices can output 4K resolution.
  2. Cable Quality: Please confirm if the HDMI or Type-C cable used to connect the signal supports 4K signal. It is highly recommended to use the accessory cables provided with the monitor for connection.
  3. Testing: You can use other computer devices that are known to support 4K output to test the monitor and verify its 4K capability.

No Signal / Black Screen

  • Ensure all cables (power and signal) are securely connected to both the monitor and the source device.
  • Verify that the source device (laptop, PC, console, phone) is powered on and configured to output to an external display.
  • Try a different cable or port on both the monitor and the source device to rule out faulty connections.
  • Ensure the monitor is receiving sufficient power, especially when connecting to devices that do not provide power (e.g., some HDMI connections).

No Audio

  • Check the volume settings on both the monitor and the connected device.
  • Ensure the 3.5mm audio output (K) is not in use if you intend to use the built-in speakers (L).
  • Verify that the signal cable (HDMI or Type-C) is capable of transmitting audio.
