While some UNEW monitors can be powered via a full-featured Type-C connection, it is highly recommended to use the included power adapter. External power is explicitly required when using standard HDMI, VGA, or DVI connections for signal transmission.
First, plug the original Nintendo Switch power adapter into the monitor's Type-C interface for power. Once powered on, use a full-featured Type-C cable to connect the other Type-C port on the monitor directly to your Nintendo Switch console.
If you are using an HDMI or other non-Type-C video cable to connect to your computer, you must also connect the provided USB touch cable between the monitor's touch port and your device's USB port to enable touch functionality.
