5. Setup

5.1. Charging the Device

  1. Connect the charging cable to the V4 PRO unit's charging port.
  2. Plug the other end of the cable into a USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter).
  3. The LED indicator will show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 3 hours.

5.2. Installing on Helmet

  1. Choose between the plastic clip or the metal clip replacement (gift) for mounting.
  2. Attach the chosen clip securely to the side of your helmet.
  3. Slide the V4 PRO host unit onto the clip until it locks into place.
  4. Connect the headset (earpieces and microphone) to the headphone jack on the V4 PRO unit. Position the earpieces inside the helmet near your ears and the microphone in front of your mouth.

5.3. Initial Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power On button until the LED indicator lights up.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power Off button until the LED indicator turns off.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Bluetooth Pairing with Mobile Phone

  1. Ensure the V4 PRO is powered off.
  2. Press and hold the Power On button until the LED indicator flashes red and blue alternately, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your mobile phone, enable Bluetooth and search for new devices.
  4. Select "XiNOWy V4 PRO" from the list of available devices.
  5. Once paired, the LED indicator will flash blue slowly.

6.2. Intercom Communication (4 Riders)

The V4 PRO supports full-duplex wireless communication among up to 4 riders with a maximum distance of 1200 meters.

  2. To initiate intercom with Rider A, press the 'Rider A' button.
  3. To initiate intercom with Rider B, press the 'Rider B' button.

6.3. Phone Call Functions

  • Answer Call: The device will automatically answer incoming mobile phone calls.
  • End Call: Press the Power On button briefly to end a call.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the Power On button for 2 seconds to reject an incoming call.

6.4. FM Radio

  • Turn On/Off FM Radio: Press the 'Radio FM' button briefly to toggle the FM radio on or off.
  • Change Station: Use the Volume + and Volume - buttons to scan for stations.

6.5. Music Playback

The V4 PRO supports strong stereo music/audio from your mobile phone, MP3 player, or GPS with A2DP for transmission.

  • Play/Pause: Briefly press the Power On button.
  • Next Track: Press the Volume + button for 2 seconds.
  • Previous Track: Press the Volume - button for 2 seconds.
