The Baseus Smooth Writing 2 Series Wireless Charging Stylus is designed to enhance your tablet experience, offering precise control, palm rejection, and convenient wireless charging. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting your stylus.
Setup Instructions
1. Wireless Connection
This function is supported only by the active wireless version of the stylus.
- Press and hold the button on the top of the stylus for 3 seconds to turn it on. The indicator light will flash blue, indicating pairing mode.
- Go to the "Settings" menu on your tablet, navigate to the wireless (Bluetooth) interface, and select "Baseus Pencil" from the list of available devices to pair.
- Once successfully connected, the indicator light will remain solid blue, confirming that pairing is complete.
Note: Ensure the stylus is not currently connected to another device and has sufficient battery power during the connection process.
2. APP Connection (for Customization)
The Baseus APP allows for advanced customization of your stylus settings. Please note that Android systems do not support adding the stylus to the app.
- Download the official Baseus APP from your device's App Store.
- Open the APP and follow the on-screen instructions to add your stylus as a device.
- If the connection fails, restart the stylus and attempt to re-connect within the app.
- After successfully adding the stylus, you can access its interface within the app to customize gestures and other settings.
Operating Instructions
Power On/Off
To turn the stylus on or off, tap and hold the pen cap for 3 seconds. This provides an easy and convenient way to manage power.
Charging
The stylus supports magnetic wireless charging. Simply snap the stylus onto the side of your compatible tablet, similar to an official pencil, for convenient charging and storage. Ensure your tablet supports magnetic charging for this feature to work.
Battery Level Indicator
The stylus provides visual feedback on its battery status:
- Blue Indicator: Battery level is between 70% and full.
- Green Indicator: Battery level is between 30% and 70%.
- Red Indicator: Battery level is under 30%.
- Flashing Red Indicator: The stylus needs to be charged immediately.
Full-Screen Palm Rejection
The stylus features full-screen palm rejection, allowing you to rest your hand naturally on the tablet screen while writing or drawing without causing accidental touches or marks. This provides a comfortable and accurate experience, similar to using a traditional pen and paper.
Tilt Control
The stylus supports tilt control, enabling easy adjustment of stroke thickness and shading based on the angle at which you hold the pen. This feature is versatile for various applications:
