1. Setup

Before using your Baseus Heyo Series Magnetic Countdown Timer, please follow these steps for initial setup:

  1. Battery Installation: The timer requires AAA batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment, insert the batteries according to the polarity markings, and close the compartment securely.
  2. Placement: The timer features a magnetic backing base. You can place it on any flat surface or attach it to a metal surface such as a refrigerator or whiteboard for convenient access.

2. Operating Instructions

The Baseus Heyo Timer offers multiple timing modes and easy adjustments.

2.1 Setting the Time

The timer features a rotating knob for intuitive time setting:

  • Adjusting Seconds: Rotate the knob slowly to adjust the second digit.
  • Adjusting Minutes: Rotate the knob quickly to adjust the minute digit.

After setting the desired time, press the button on the side to start the timer.

2.2 Timing Modes

The timer supports three main timing modes:

  • Count-up: When the display shows '00:00', press the button to start counting upwards. Ideal for tracking elapsed time.
  • Countdown: Set your desired time using the rotating knob, then press the button to start the countdown.
  • Multi-Period Timing: This mode supports setting up to 5 different time periods, useful for structured work or study sessions like the Pomodoro Technique.

2.3 Start/Pause Control

Press the button on the side of the timer to start or pause the current timing session. This allows you to temporarily stop the count for emergencies or breaks.

2.4 Memory Function

To quickly recall the last timing setup, double-press the button. This eliminates the need to reset the time for repetitive tasks. Note: This function primarily works for the multi-period timing mode and records only the last timing period you set up.

2.5 Ascending Alarm

The timer features an ascending alarm. The volume of the buzzing gradually increases from 40dB to 80dB over 10 seconds, ensuring it alerts you without causing sudden disturbance.

2.6 Flip Display

The timer supports a flip display. When you physically flip the timer over, the display orientation will automatically adjust to remain readable.

To conserve battery and minimize distractions, the display will automatically turn off after 10 seconds of no operation.
