Operating Video
User Tips
- Power Supply: Always use the provided AC adapter to ensure stable power, especially when connecting devices that require external power (e.g., gaming consoles via HDMI). Insufficient voltage can lead to poor signal or flickering.
- USB-C Compatibility: For single-cable connection (power and video), verify that your device's USB-C port supports Thunderbolt 3.0 or USB 3.1 Type C DP Alt-Mode. If not, an HDMI connection with external power will be necessary.
- 120Hz Performance: To experience the full 120Hz refresh rate, ensure that both your connected device and the game or application you are running are configured to support and output at 120Hz.
- Power Saving Mode: The monitor defaults to a power-saving mode. Remember that it does not have a save function in sleep mode, so you may need to manually adjust settings after waking it up.
- No Touchscreen/Battery: This monitor does not have a built-in battery or touchscreen functionality. It requires an external power source to operate.
Troubleshooting
- Poor Signal or Flickering:
- Ensure the monitor is powered by the included AC adapter.
- Try swapping the HDMI cable to test for cable issues.
- "No Signal" or "Power Saving Mode" Message:
- If using a Type-C connection, try flipping the USB-C cable head and reconnecting it to the monitor.
- Verify that your device's USB-C port supports video output (Thunderbolt 3.0 or USB 3.1 Type C DP Alt-Mode). If not, use a "Type-C to HDMI" adapter for signal transmission.
- No Display with Laptop/PC:
- Check your laptop/PC's display settings to ensure the external monitor is detected and configured correctly (e.g., Extend, Duplicate).
- Ensure all cables are securely connected.
- No Sound:
- Check the monitor's volume settings using the scroll wheel/menu button.
- Verify that the audio output on your connected device is set to the external monitor.
Maintenance
- Cleaning the Screen: Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a screen-cleaning solution. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Cleaning the Body: Wipe the monitor's body with a soft, dry cloth.
- Storage: When not in use, store the monitor in its protective leather case to prevent scratches and damage.
- Avoid Extreme Conditions: Do not expose the monitor to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
