4. Setup

  1. **Unpacking**: Carefully remove the power supply and all accessories from the packaging.
  2. **Placement**: Place the power supply on a stable, level surface with adequate ventilation around the unit, especially the rear cooling fan.
  3. **Power Connection**: Connect the provided power cable to the AC input socket on the rear panel of the power supply and then to a suitable grounded AC outlet. Ensure the input voltage matches your local power supply (AC 110V or 220V).
  4. **Output Connection**: Connect the red output line to the positive (+) terminal and the black output line to the negative (-) terminal on the front panel. Connect the other ends of the output lines to your load.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Press the 'POWER' button on the front panel to turn the unit on or off. The LED display will illuminate upon power-on.

5.2 Voltage and Current Adjustment

The power supply features coarse and fine adjustment knobs for both voltage and current, allowing for precise control.

  • **Voltage Adjustment**: Use the 'COARSE V' knob for large adjustments and the 'FINE V' knob for small, precise adjustments of the output voltage.
  • **Current Adjustment**: Use the 'COARSE A' knob for large adjustments and the 'FINE A' knob for small, precise adjustments of the output current.

5.3 Output Button

The 'OUTPUT' button controls the power output to the terminals. Press it to enable or disable the output. This helps prevent unexpected damage to loads due to voltage and current changes during setup or adjustment.

5.4 Over Current Protection (OCP) and Over Voltage Protection (OVP)

The power supply is equipped with OCP and OVP functions to protect both the device and the connected load.

  • **OCP (Over Current Protection)**: If the output current exceeds the set limit, the output will stop, and 'OCP' will flash on the screen.
  • **OVP (Over Voltage Protection)**: If the output voltage exceeds a safe limit, the output will stop, and 'OVP' will flash on the screen.

These protections ensure safety during operation, especially when dealing with short circuits or overcurrent conditions.

5.5 USB Charging Port

A 5V/2A USB port is available on the front panel for conveniently charging compatible devices.

6. Maintenance

  • **Cleaning**: Regularly clean the exterior of the power supply with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • **Ventilation**: Ensure the cooling fan and ventilation openings are free from dust and obstructions to maintain optimal performance and prevent overheating.
  • **Storage**: When not in use for extended periods, store the power supply in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • **Fuse Replacement**: The device includes a fuse box on the rear panel. If the unit fails to power on, check and replace the fuse if necessary. Ensure to use a fuse of the correct rating.

7. Troubleshooting
