Operation Instructions

Power On/Off

Press the POWER switch. The display screen initializes, showing the parameter settings from the last shutdown. Press the power switch again to turn the power supply off.

Status Indicator

Output Parameter Setting

  1. Connect the load to the front panel terminals.
  2. Set the output voltage and current. Press the VA button to switch between voltage and current adjustment. Adjust the voltage and current using the tuner. For fine tuning, use the tuner directly. For coarse tuning, press the ADJUST button. Each press of ADJUST moves the cursor one position to the left.

Save/Call Settings

The front panel settings can save 4 groups of internal memories.

Save Settings: Press the corresponding memory keys (M1~M4). The power supply will automatically save the set voltage and current values.

Call Settings: Press the corresponding memory keys (M1~M4) to recall the parameter value saved in that memory. The lights for the selected memory keys (M1-M4) will illuminate, indicating the currently recalled memory group.

Output On/Off

Press the ON/OFF button to turn the output on. The output key light will illuminate. Press the output button again to turn off the power output; the output key light will turn off.

Note: When recalling settings from memory, the output will be automatically turned off.

Locking the Front Panel

Press the LOCK button. The button light will turn on, and all buttons and knob operations on the front panel (except On/Off) will be locked. To release the lock, press LOCK again; the button light will turn off, and panel operations will resume.

Work Requirement

  1. AC Input: Ensure the input voltage matches the product's requirement: 230V±10% or 115V±10%.
  2. Environment: Do not use the device in environments where the ambient temperature exceeds 40 degrees Celsius. Ensure adequate space for the cooling fan located at the rear of the device for proper cooling.

Connect the Load

  1. Rotate the terminal knob counterclockwise.
  2. Insert the load terminal.
  3. Turn the terminal knob clockwise.
  4. Banana plugs can be inserted directly into the terminal holes.

Warning: Incorrect AC voltage input can cause serious damage to the device. Please ensure the required input voltage value is correct.

Attention: Improper connection may result in damage to the power supply and the connected load. When connecting a battery load, do not reverse the polarity of the '+' and '-' terminals, as this may damage the power supply.

Constant Voltage / Constant Current Characteristics

This series of power supplies features automatic conversion between constant voltage and constant current modes, adapting to load changes. The point where constant voltage transitions to constant current is called the conversion point.

For example, if the load requires the power supply to operate in constant voltage mode, a constant voltage is output. As the load increases, the output voltage remains constant, and the output current increases. When the current reaches the set limit, the power supply automatically switches to constant current mode. The output current remains stable, and the output voltage decreases proportionally as the load increases further. The conversion between constant voltage and constant current modes is indicated by the LEDs on the front panel.

Fuse Replacement

If the fuse blows, the power supply will stop working. Identify and correct the cause of the blown fuse, then replace it with a fuse of the same specification.

Procedure:

Note: For effective safety protection, only replace the fuse with one of the specified rating. Before replacing the fuse, ensure the power is turned off and the power cord is unplugged from the outlet.

⚡ HIGH VOLTAGE! DANGER!
