2. Setup

2.1 Unpacking and Initial Inspection

2.3 Powering the Alarm Panel

  1. Insert SIM Card: Locate the SIM card slot on the back of the alarm panel. Insert a 4G compatible SIM card.
  2. Connect Power: Connect the DC 5V power adapter to the 5V USB port on the back of the panel.

2.6 App Installation and Setup (Tuya Smart Life)

  1. Download App: Download the "Tuya Smart" or "Smart Life" app from your smartphone's app store (Android/iOS).
  2. Register/Login: Create an account or log in to your existing account.
  3. Add Device: In the app, tap '+' to add a new device. Select the alarm system category or use auto-scan.
  4. Connect to Wi-Fi: Follow the in-app instructions to connect the alarm panel to your home Wi-Fi network.

The system provides immediate alerts on the panel and your smartphone if a door or window equipped with a sensor is opened while the system is armed or in a monitoring state.

3.6 Language Settings

The alarm panel supports 10 languages. To change the language, navigate to the system settings on the touchscreen and select your preferred language from the available options: Chinese, English, Russian, German, Spanish, Polish, Greek, Italian, French, Portuguese.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Backup Battery Management
