4. Setup
4.1 Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device (refer to Figure 2).
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert one CR2032 button battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely. The device should power on automatically.
4.2 Placement
The device can be placed in two ways:
- Standing: Use the integrated kickstand on the back to place the device on a flat surface such as a desk, shelf, or table.
- Wall Hanging: Utilize the hanging hole on the back to mount the device on a wall using a nail or screw (not included).

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
The device powers on automatically once the battery is installed. There is no manual power on/off button. To turn off, remove the battery.
5.2 Temperature Unit Switching (°C/°F)
Press the °C/°F button on the back of the device (refer to Figure 2) to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature units.
5.3 Reset Function
To reset the device or clear recorded data, press the RESET button located on the back of the device (refer to Figure 2).
6. Comfort Level Indicator
The device features a color-coded comfort level indicator on the display to quickly assess the environmental conditions:
- DRY: Indicates humidity is less than 30%.
- COMFORT: Indicates temperature is between 18°C and 26°C, and humidity is between 30% and 69%.
- WET: Indicates humidity is greater than or equal to 70%.

7. Memory Function (HIGH/LOW)
The device automatically records and displays the highest (HIGH) and lowest (LOW) temperature and humidity values over a 24-hour period. These values represent the average maximum and minimum recorded within that timeframe.
8. Battery Replacement
When the low battery symbol appears on the screen, it is time to replace the battery. Follow the steps for battery installation in Section 4.1, using a new CR2032 button battery.
9. Troubleshooting
- No display or faint display:
Check if the battery is installed correctly with the right polarity. Replace the battery if it is low or depleted. - Inaccurate readings:
Ensure the device is placed in a location away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or strong drafts, which can affect sensor accuracy. Allow some time for the device to stabilize after placement or battery change. - Buttons not responding:
Try pressing the RESET button. If the issue persists, remove and reinsert the battery.
10. User Tips
- For optimal accuracy, place the thermometer hygrometer in a central location within the room, away from windows or vents.
- Regularly check the battery indicator to ensure continuous monitoring.
- The device is designed for indoor use only. Avoid exposing it to extreme outdoor conditions or direct water contact.
11. Maintenance
- Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
- Keep the ventilation openings on the back of the device clear of dust and debris to ensure proper airflow to the sensors.
- If storing the device for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent leakage.
