6.1 Wiring Methods
There are two primary wiring methods for the smart switch:
- Directly connects the light: The smart switch is wired directly to control the light fixture.
- Connects lights and rocker switches: The smart switch is wired to integrate with existing mechanical rocker switches for both smart and manual control.

6.2 Two-Way Control Wiring
The smart switch supports two-way control, allowing you to retain manual control from your existing switches after installation.

6.3 Switch Compatibility
The smart switch is compatible with various types of mechanical switches, including EU and US mechanical switches and rocker switches. It is important to note that it is designed for mechanical rocker switches and is not compatible with electronic rocker switches.

7. App Setup & Pairing
7.1 App Installation
Download the "Smart Life" or "Tuya Smart" app from your smartphone's app store (Google Play Store for Android or Apple App Store for iOS).
7.2 Pairing the Device
To put the smart switch into pairing mode, follow one of these methods:
- Long press the manual button on the switch for 5 seconds.
- Turn the connected rocker switch ON/OFF six times.
- Turn the power to the switch ON/OFF six times.
The device will make a "DI DI DI..." sound, and the LED light will flash, indicating it is in pairing status.

7.3 Adding Device to Smart Life App
Follow these steps to add the smart switch to your Smart Life app:
- Open the Smart Life app and log in or register.
- Tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon.
- Select "Electrician" > "Breaker (Wi-Fi)" or allow the app to auto-scan for devices.
- Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
- Confirm the device's indicator is blinking fast and proceed with adding.
- Once added successfully, you can rename the device and tap "Done".

8. Operating Instructions
8.1 App Remote Control
Once paired, you can control your connected appliances or lights from anywhere using the Smart Life/Tuya app on your smartphone.

8.3 Timing Function

8.6 Relay Status Setting

- Manual switch not working after installation: Ensure the wiring is correct for two-way control and that you are using a mechanical rocker switch, not an electronic one.
