Setup

1. Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge your MateBook E Go. Connect the 65W power adapter to one of the USB-C ports on the device and then to a power outlet. The device can reach 45% charge in approximately 30 minutes and fully charge in about 100 minutes.

The MateBook E Go features dual USB-C interfaces and supports 65W fast charging.

2. Attaching the Detachable Keyboard

Align the magnetic connectors of the detachable keyboard with the corresponding pins on the bottom edge of the MateBook E Go tablet. The keyboard will snap into place magnetically. The keyboard bracket allows for angle adjustments between 120° and 160° for comfortable viewing and typing.

3. Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press and hold the power button (integrated with the fingerprint sensor) on the side of the tablet until the HUAWEI logo appears.
  • Power Off: Go to Start > Power > Shut down in Windows 11. Alternatively, press and hold the power button and follow the on-screen prompts.
  • Restart: Go to Start > Power > Restart.

4. M-Pencil Pairing and Charging (Optional)

If you have the HUAWEI M-Pencil (2nd Gen), it can be magnetically attached to the side of the MateBook E Go for both charging and pairing. Once attached, a prompt will appear on screen to connect.

5. Network Connection

  • Wi-Fi: Navigate to Windows Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi, then select your desired network and enter the password. The MateBook E Go supports Wi-Fi 6 for faster speeds.
  • LTE (for Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 models): Insert a SIM card into the designated slot. The device will automatically connect to the mobile network.
  • Mobile Network Sharing: The MateBook E Go supports multi-device communication sharing, allowing it to automatically connect to a nearby Huawei phone's network without traditional hotspot setup.

Operating Instructions

1. Basic Navigation

  • Touchscreen: Use familiar touch gestures for navigation, scrolling, and interaction.
  • Keyboard: The full-size keyboard provides a comfortable typing experience with a 1.3mm key travel.
  • M-Pencil: The HUAWEI M-Pencil (2nd Gen) offers 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity and a low 2ms delay for precise writing and drawing. Double-click the pen body to quickly access a customizable shortcut key.

The keyboard bracket supports 120° - 160° angle adjustment, providing a comfortable viewing angle for writing and painting with the HUAWEI M-Pencil.

2. Multi-Screen Collaboration & Hyper Terminal

Leverage Huawei's ecosystem features for enhanced productivity:

  • Multi-Screen Collaboration: Connect your Huawei smartphone to the MateBook E Go to display your phone screen on the tablet. This allows for drag-and-drop file transfers, cross-device editing, and a broader mobile interface experience.
  • Super Transfer Station (Hyper Terminal): Long-press and drag multi-format information (images, text, files) into the Super Transfer Station to temporarily store them. This enables seamless cross-application and cross-device transfer without interrupting your workflow.

Multi-screen collaboration supports large horizontal screen windows and parallel viewing horizons, enabling a broader mobile interface to be viewed on a computer and efficient collaboration.

3. Smart Voice Function

The keyboard is equipped with a smart voice key. Press this key to activate voice input, enabling hands-free operation and AI subtitles for international meetings.

4. Display Settings

The 12.35-inch 2.5K IPS display features a 120Hz refresh rate (supported by Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 models) for smooth visuals. It also includes TÜV Rheinland certifications for hardware-level low blue light and no flash frequency, designed for eye protection and comfortable viewing. Adjust display settings in Windows Settings > System > Display.

5. Camera Usage
