4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Starting a Car

  1. Power On: Press the main switch to ensure the jump starter is powered on.
  2. Connect Clamps: Plug the smart alligator clips into the EC5 port of the jump starter. The indicator on the clips will flash red and green.
  3. Attach to Battery: Open the car's engine hood and connect the alligator clips to your car battery. Ensure the red clamp is connected to the positive (+) terminal and the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal.
  4. Start Engine: Return to your car and start the engine.
  5. Disconnect: Immediately disconnect the jump starter from the car battery once the car starts.

Note:

  • For optimal performance, ensure the jump starter's battery level is above 50%. For zero-voltage starts, ensure the battery level is above 75%.
  • The entire jump start process should be completed within 30 seconds.

4.2. Charging Phones/Tablets

The USB A interface provides a 5V/3A power output for charging electronic devices such as smartphones and tablets.

4.3. Self-Charging the Jump Starter

The jump starter can be recharged via its Type-C input port using a compatible charger.

4.4. Using the Flashlight

The jump starter features a built-in flashlight with multiple modes:

  • Turn On/Off: Press and hold the flashlight button to turn it on. Double-click to switch between modes. Double-click again to turn it off.
  • Modes: The flashlight offers three lighting modes: Emergency light (regular illumination), SOS mode (flashes alternately for help), and Strobe light mode (alarmingly bright).

5. Safety Information and Warnings

Please read all safety instructions carefully before use to prevent injury or damage.

  • Battery Level: Do not use the product if the battery level is below 50% or if it is overheating.
  • EC5 Connection: Ensure the EC5 plug is fully and properly inserted into the jump starter. Improper connection can affect performance and may cause melting of the plastic part of the port.
  • Usage Frequency: Do not use the product to jump start your car at a very high frequency. Allow at least 30 seconds between consecutive jump start attempts.
  • Immediate Start: Start your car immediately after connecting the alligator clips and the jump starter.
  • Troubleshooting Start Failure: If the car fails to start, check if the alligator clips are connected properly. Inspect for rust or filth on the contacts; clean them if present. If the car fails to start three times in a row, discontinue use to prevent product damage.
  • Storage Conditions: Do not store the product in high-temperature environments, strong light, intense magnetic fields, or near fire sources. If water enters the product, allow it to dry naturally before use before further operation.
  • Improper Use: Incorrect use can damage the product and endanger personal or property safety. The consumer is responsible for any personal or property damage resulting from improper use or ignoring warnings.
  • Disassembly: Disassembly of this product by non-professionals is strictly prohibited.
  • Overload: Avoid using household appliances or loads that exceed the product's output current (circuit protection will prevent output).
  • Physical Damage: Avoid actions that could damage the product, such as bashing, throwing, or stepping on it.

A: No, this product is designed only for 12V gas/diesel cars.

Q: Why is there a buzzing sound when the product is not connected to the car?
A: This usually indicates that the smart clamp is not fully plugged into the jump starter. Please re-plug the clamp firmly.
