Troubleshooting

Q: My device is not tracking faces.
A: Ensure you have the YT-1200 AI model, as the standard YT-1200 does not include face tracking functionality. Also, confirm sufficient lighting and that the subject's face is clearly visible to the AI camera.
Q: The tracking seems slow or inaccurate for fast-moving subjects.
A: The AI tracking is optimized for general movement and presentations. For very fast-paced sports or erratic movements, the tracking may have limitations. Adjust the speed settings on the remote control to see if it improves performance for your specific use case.
Q: The remote control is not responding.
A: Check the battery in the remote control. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the pan tilt head's IR receiver. Try re-pairing the remote if applicable (refer to the 'Code butt' function in Figure 1).

User Tips

  • Model Selection: When purchasing, carefully distinguish between the YT-1200 and YT-1200 AI models. Only the AI version offers intelligent face tracking and gesture control.
  • Remote Control: The remote control uses infrared (IR) technology. Ensure a clear line of sight between the remote and the pan tilt head for optimal operation.
  • Battery Management: For extended shooting sessions, especially outdoors, consider carrying a spare 18650 lithium battery or a power bank to charge the device via its Type-C port.
