4. Setup
- Power Connection: Connect a DC 9V power adapter (not included) to the pedal. Ensure the power adapter has a central negative polarity (positive pole outside, negative pole inside) to prevent damage.
- Instrument Connection: Link your instrument (guitar, bass, violin, ukulele) to the 'IN' jack of the pedal using a standard instrument cable.
- Output Connection: Connect the 'OUT' jack of the pedal to your amplifier or next effect pedal in the signal chain.


5. Operation
- Turn On: Press the ON/OFF footswitch button to activate the tuner. The display will light up.
- Adjust Pitch (A4): If you wish to change the reference pitch, press the 'A4' button. The pitch ranges from 430Hz to 450Hz.
- Adjust Flat Options: If you need to tune with flat notes, press the 'FLAT' button. This offers 4 steps: b, bb, bbb, bbbb.
- Tune Your Instrument: Play a single note on your instrument. The note name will appear on the tuner screen. The screen color and tuning needle will indicate the tuning status.
- Tuning Indicators:
- In Tune: The center blue tuning meter appears, and two blue triangles appear on either side of the note name.
- Flat Note: The left red tuning meters appear, and a blue triangle appears on the left side of the note name.
- Sharp Note: The right yellow tuning meters appear, and a blue triangle appears on the right side of the note name.
- Bypass Function: Once tuning is complete, press the ON/OFF footswitch button again. The tuner will enter bypass mode, allowing your instrument's signal to pass through without any distortion or coloration.


6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use only a dry, soft cloth to clean the pedal. Avoid using alcohol or other cleaning fluids.
- Storage: Store the pedal in a dry, dust-free environment away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Handling: Handle the pedal with care to avoid dropping or subjecting it to violent vibrations.
- Power Off: Always turn off the pedal when not in use to conserve power and prolong its lifespan.
7. Troubleshooting
- No Power/Flickering Indicator: If the power indicator is flickering or the unit does not power on, check the DC 9V power adapter connection and ensure it meets the specified polarity (central negative). If using a battery, replace it if low.
- Signal Issues: If the signal is distorted or weak, ensure all cables are securely connected and in good condition. Obstructions or poor cable quality between the instrument and the pedal can affect signal integrity.
- Tuner Not Responding: Ensure the pedal is in tuner mode (not bypass). Recheck instrument connection.
- Damaged Unit: If the apparatus has been damaged (e.g., power cord/plug damaged, liquid spilled, dropped, exposed to rain/moisture), do not attempt to repair it yourself. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
