2. Safety Information

  • Ensure the workpiece is stable and secure before applying torque.
  • Do not exceed the maximum specified torque range for your wrench model.

5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

Your ARITER Digital Torque Wrench requires two AA batteries for operation. These are not included due to international shipping regulations.

  1. Locate the battery compartment, usually at the base of the handle.
  2. Open the compartment cover.
  3. Insert two AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

6. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to operate your digital torque wrench effectively.

6.1 Power On/Off

  • To power on: Press the C key.
  • To power off: Press and hold the C key until the display turns off.

6.2 Setting Target Torque Value

You can preset up to 6 different target torque values (M1-M6).

  1. Press the M key repeatedly to cycle through the target groups (M1, M2, M3, etc.).
  2. Once the desired target group (e.g., M1) is selected, use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) arrow keys to adjust the torque value.

6.3 Selecting Torque Unit

The wrench supports four torque units: N.m, in.lb, ft.lb, and kg.cm.

  • Press the U key repeatedly to cycle through the available torque units. The selected unit will be displayed on the screen.

6.4 Selecting Working Mode (PEAK / TRACK)

The wrench offers two working modes:

  • To switch between PEAK and TRACK modes: Long press the U key.
  • PEAK Mode: During use, the screen displays the maximum torque value achieved during the process in real-time.
  • TRACK Mode: During use, the screen displays the current torque value in real-time, and returns to zero after unloading.

6.5 Alarm Function

The wrench provides visual (LED lights) and audible (buzzer) alarms as you approach and reach your target torque.

When applying torque, the alarms will trigger at specific percentages of your preset target value:

  • 85% of Target Torque: The first green LED light will illuminate, and the buzzer will sound.
  • 90% of Target Torque: The second green LED light will illuminate, and the buzzer will sound.
  • 100% of Target Torque: Two red LED lights will illuminate simultaneously, and the buzzer will sound continuously.

6.6 Viewing Operation Records

The wrench can store up to 500 sets of operation records.

  1. Long press the U key to enter the record viewing mode.
  2. Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) arrow keys to select the desired record number. The corresponding operating torque value will be displayed.

7. Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and accuracy of your digital torque wrench.

  • Cleaning: Wipe the tool with a soft, dry cloth after each use. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the torque wrench in its original tool box in a dry, clean environment, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace batteries promptly when the low battery indicator appears on the display to ensure accurate readings and prevent corrosion.
  • Calibration: Digital torque wrenches require periodic calibration to maintain accuracy. Refer to a professional calibration service if you suspect accuracy issues.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Display Not Turning On: Check if the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace batteries if necessary.
