4. Setup Guide
4.1. Powering On and SIM Card Installation
- Connect the DC 5V power adapter to the alarm panel and plug it into a power outlet.
- Locate the SIM card slot on the side of the panel.
- Insert a 2G/3G/4G SIM card into the slot. Ensure the SIM card is correctly oriented.
- Turn on the alarm panel using the power switch.

4.2. Connecting to Tuya Smart App (WiFi)
- Download the "Tuya Smart" app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
- Register or log in to your Tuya Smart account.
- On the KERUI W184 panel, navigate to "WiFi Settings" using the touch keyboard.
- Select "Smart Config" or "AP Config" as instructed by the app.
- In the Tuya Smart app, tap "Add Device" and select "Multi-function alarm" or similar.
- Follow the on-screen prompts in the app to connect the alarm panel to your 2.4G WiFi network. This typically involves entering your WiFi password.
- Once connected, the app will confirm the device has been added successfully.

4.3. Adding Wireless Accessories
The W184 supports up to 99 wireless zones for detectors and 100 remote controls.
- On the alarm panel, navigate to "Add Accessories" in the menu.
- To add a remote control: Select "Add Remote Control". The panel will prompt you to press any button on the remote. Press a button on your remote control. The panel will confirm successful addition.
- To add a detector (e.g., PIR sensor, door/window sensor): Select "Add Detector". The panel will prompt you to trigger the detector. Activate the detector (e.g., open the door for a door sensor, or trigger motion for a PIR sensor). The panel will confirm successful addition.
- Repeat for all desired remote controls and detectors.

4.4. Installing the Wired Siren
The wired siren provides an additional loud alert (up to 120dB) to deter intruders.
- Locate the wired siren interface on the alarm panel (refer to Figure 3.1).
- Connect the wired siren's cable to this interface.
- Mount the siren in a suitable location, ensuring it is visible and audible.

4.5. Mounting the Alarm Panel
The alarm panel can be mounted on a wall using the provided bracket and screws. Ensure it is placed in a central location for optimal wireless signal reception and away from direct sunlight or moisture.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Arming and Disarming the System
- Via Alarm Panel: Use the touch keyboard to enter your password and select the arm/disarm function.
- Via Remote Control: Press the arm or disarm button on your remote control.
- Via Tuya Smart App: Use the app interface to remotely arm or disarm the system.
- Scheduled Arm/Disarm: The system supports 4 groups of timed arming and disarming. Navigate to the "Scheduled Setting" menu on the panel or in the app to configure specific times for automatic arming and disarming.

5.2. Receiving Alerts and Notifications
- App Notifications: When a sensor is triggered (e.g., door/window open, motion detected), you will receive instant alerts on your smartphone via the Tuya Smart App.
- SMS/Phone Calls: If a 4G SIM card is installed, the system will send SMS messages and make calls to up to 6 pre-set emergency contacts during an alarm event.
- Voice Prompts: The alarm panel provides automatic voice prompts for system status changes (e.g., "System armed", "System disarmed", "Zone 01 is alarming").

5.3. Two-Way Audio Communication
The alarm panel supports two-way audio, allowing you to communicate through the panel as if it were a regular phone. This feature can be activated via the Tuya Smart App.

5.5. Language Selection

6. Maintenance
6.1. Battery Backup
The KERUI W184 alarm panel includes a built-in 3.7V 800mAh rechargeable lithium battery, providing up to 8 hours of standby power during an electricity outage. This ensures continuous protection even when the main power is lost.
6.2. Low Battery Reminder
The system will send notifications to your mobile phone via the Tuya Smart App if the alarm panel's battery is low or if there is a power outage. This allows you to take timely action to recharge the battery or restore power.
