5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Powering On/Off
- To power on, slide the 'ON/OFF' switch on both the Transmitter and Receiver to the 'ON' position.
- To power off, slide the 'ON/OFF' switch on both devices to the 'OFF' position.
5.2 Channel Selection and Pairing
The WP-5G system features automatic channel setup for ease of use. It supports 4 independent channels, allowing multiple systems to operate simultaneously without interference.
- After powering on, the devices will automatically attempt to pair. The indicator lights will show connection status.
- If you experience interference or wish to use multiple systems, press the 'CHANNEL' button on both the Transmitter and Receiver to cycle through the 4 available channels.
- Ensure both the Transmitter and Receiver are set to the same channel for proper operation. The indicator lights will confirm a successful connection.

6. Maintenance and Care
- Charging: Always use the provided USB cable for charging. Avoid using damaged cables or chargers. Do not overcharge the devices.
- Cleaning: Wipe the devices with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Storage: When not in use, store the transmitter and receiver in the provided storage bag to protect them from dust and physical damage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: For optimal battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. If storing for a long period, charge the battery to about 50% every few months.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No sound or intermittent sound | Devices not powered on; Transmitter and Receiver on different channels; Low battery; Loose connection; Interference. | Ensure both devices are ON. Press the CHANNEL button on both to match channels. Charge both devices fully. Check that plugs are securely inserted. Move away from other wireless devices. |
| Short transmission range | Obstructions (walls, large objects); Interference; Low battery. | Ensure a clear line of sight between transmitter and receiver. Change channels to avoid interference. Fully charge both devices. |
| Humming or static noise | Interference from other electronic devices; Ground loop issues (less common with wireless). | Change channels. Move the system away from Wi-Fi routers, microwaves, or other 5.8GHz devices. |
| Device not charging | Faulty USB cable or power adapter; Device malfunction. | Try a different USB cable and power adapter. Ensure connections are secure. |

- Multiple Instruments: If you have multiple instruments or want to use the system with a band, you can purchase additional WP-5G systems. Each pair (transmitter and receiver) can operate on one of the 4 available channels, allowing up to four separate wireless connections simultaneously without interference. Ensure each pair is set to a unique channel.
- Optimal Performance: For the best signal quality and range, try to maintain a clear line of sight between the transmitter and receiver. Avoid placing them behind large metal objects or near other strong wireless signals.
