1. Introduction

The LEKATO WP-5G wireless audio transmission system is designed for electronic instruments, providing a seamless wireless connection. This system features low noise, low latency, high resolution audio, and a long transmission range, allowing for a more convenient and flexible performance experience without the constraints of wired cables.

4. Setup Guide

4.1 Charging the Devices

  1. Connect the provided 1-in-2-out USB charging cable to both the Transmitter and Receiver.
  2. Plug the USB cable into a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.
  3. The indicator lights will show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours.
  4. Once fully charged, the devices will provide over 8 hours of continuous use.

4.2 Connecting to Instruments and Amplifiers

  1. Plug the Transmitter (marked 'Transmitter' with a guitar icon) into the output jack of your instrument (e.g., electric guitar, bass). The 1/4" plug can be rotated 190° to fit various instrument designs.
  2. Plug the Receiver (marked 'Receiver' with a speaker icon) into the input jack of your amplifier, mixer, or other audio equipment.
  3. Ensure both the Transmitter and Receiver are powered off before connecting.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off

  • To power on, slide the 'ON/OFF' switch on both the Transmitter and Receiver to the 'ON' position.
  • To power off, slide the 'ON/OFF' switch on both devices to the 'OFF' position.

5.2 Channel Selection and Pairing

The WP-5G system features automatic channel setup for ease of use. It supports 4 independent channels, allowing multiple systems to operate simultaneously without interference.

  1. After powering on, the devices will automatically attempt to pair. The indicator lights will show connection status.
  2. If you experience interference or wish to use multiple systems, press the 'CHANNEL' button on both the Transmitter and Receiver to cycle through the 4 available channels.
  3. Ensure both the Transmitter and Receiver are set to the same channel for proper operation. The indicator lights will confirm a successful connection.

6. Maintenance and Care

  • Charging: Always use the provided USB cable for charging. Avoid using damaged cables or chargers. Do not overcharge the devices.
  • Cleaning: Wipe the devices with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the transmitter and receiver in the provided storage bag to protect them from dust and physical damage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: For optimal battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. If storing for a long period, charge the battery to about 50% every few months.

  • Multiple Instruments: If you have multiple instruments or want to use the system with a band, you can purchase additional WP-5G systems. Each pair (transmitter and receiver) can operate on one of the 4 available channels, allowing up to four separate wireless connections simultaneously without interference. Ensure each pair is set to a unique channel.
  • Optimal Performance: For the best signal quality and range, try to maintain a clear line of sight between the transmitter and receiver. Avoid placing them behind large metal objects or near other strong wireless signals.
