Setup
1. Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the speaker's charging port and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The charging time is approximately 5.5 hours.
2. Power On/Off
Locate the power button (refer to the device diagram in the User's Guide for exact location). Press and hold the power button for a few seconds to turn the speaker ON or OFF.
3. Bluetooth Pairing
- Turn on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon on the LCD screen.
- On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "MLOVE BV810" (or similar name) from the list.
- If prompted for a PIN, enter "0000".
- Once connected, the speaker will confirm with an audible prompt, and the Bluetooth icon on the LCD screen will become solid.
4. FM Radio Setup
To use the FM radio function:
- Switch the speaker to FM Radio mode.
- The speaker supports both automatic and semi-automatic station searching. Use the controls (refer to the User's Guide for button layout) to initiate a scan for available stations.
- The LCD screen will display the frequency and station information.
Operating Instructions
1. Bluetooth Playback
After successful Bluetooth pairing, you can play audio from your connected device. Use your device's media controls or the speaker's controls to adjust volume, skip tracks, and pause/play.
2. FM Radio Operation
In FM Radio mode, use the navigation buttons to tune to different stations. The LCD screen will show the current frequency. Adjust volume using the rotary switch or dedicated volume buttons.
3. USB/Micro SD Card Playback
Insert a USB flash drive or a FAT32 formatted Micro SD card containing MP3, WMA, or WAV audio files into the respective port. The speaker will automatically detect the storage and begin playback. Use the speaker's controls to navigate through tracks and adjust volume.
4. Hands-free Calling
When your phone is connected via Bluetooth and an incoming call is received, press the designated call button on the speaker (refer to the User's Guide) to answer. You can speak directly into the speaker's built-in microphone. Press the button again to end the call.
5. Loop Playback
The speaker offers "Single", "All", and "Random" loop playback modes. Use the mode button (refer to the User's Guide) to cycle through these options and select your preferred playback style for tracks from USB or Micro SD card.
6. Headphone Use
Connect any standard 3.5mm earphones to the speaker's headphone jack for private listening. The speaker's internal speakers will mute automatically when headphones are connected.
Maintenance
- Keep the speaker dry. Avoid exposure to water or excessive humidity.
- Clean the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Store the speaker in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
- Avoid dropping or subjecting the speaker to strong impacts.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the speaker yourself. This will void the warranty.
Troubleshooting
Speaker keeps cutting out during playback:
- Ensure the speaker is within the operating range of your connected device (e.g., Bluetooth range).
- Check for any physical obstacles between the speaker and the device that might interfere with the signal.
Unable to connect to your device:
- Restart the speaker and try the pairing process again.
- If your device requires a PIN code for Bluetooth connection, enter "0000".
Unable to play music from Micro SD card:
- Ensure the Micro SD card is formatted to FAT32. The speaker only supports FAT32 format.
- Verify that the music files are in compatible formats: APE, FLAC, WAV, WMA, or MP3.
No sound during playback:
- Adjust the volume on the speaker using the rotary switch or volume buttons.
- Adjust the volume on your connected device.
- Check if the speaker is paused.
No sound in AUX-in mode:
- Ensure the audio cable is securely connected to both the speaker's AUX-in jack and your audio source.
Speaker not turning on:
- The battery might be depleted. Try charging the speaker for approximately 3 hours.
Speaker not responding to any operation:
- Try resetting the speaker by pressing the reset button, usually located in the AUX-in jack. (Refer to the User's Guide for exact location).
User Tips
- For optimal FM radio reception, ensure the speaker is placed in an open area away from large metal objects or other electronic devices that might cause interference.
- When using the Micro SD card or USB drive, organize your music into folders for easier navigation, although the speaker will play all compatible files.
