- Handling: Handle the device with care to prevent drops or impacts that could cause internal damage.
- Cables: Ensure all cables are connected securely and are not pinched or strained.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your device, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Sound from the Device
- Check if the AUX cable is properly inserted.
- If using FM transmission, ensure the FM transmitter switch is turned on. Note that when the FM transmitter is active, the device's internal speaker will be muted.
- Screen Does Not Light Up
- Verify that the power supply is properly connected. The indicator light on the USB should be on if the cigarette lighter adapter is correctly installed.
- If power is confirmed, press and hold the reset button on the back of the device for 3 seconds.
- If the issue persists, it might be a software problem. Please contact customer service for potential software upgrades.
- Touch Buttons Not Working After Software Upgrade
- The upgrade process typically requires two cycles. If only one upgrade was performed, the touch buttons might become unresponsive. Please re-perform the software upgrade following the provided video instructions. Contact customer service for upgrade software and video.
- Screen Blurry or Unclear with Sunglasses
- Adjust the VCOM parameters in the device settings. Contact customer service for a video guide on this operation if needed.
- Rear Camera Compatibility
- The device only supports CVBS and AHD format reversing cameras. You will need a special PAD3 camera adapter cable to connect them. Contact customer service to obtain the adapter cable link. Note that some original car cameras are not supported.
User Tips
- Android Auto Wireless Compatibility: Be aware that some Android phones may not fully support wireless Android Auto and might require a wired USB connection. This is often due to phone adaptability rather than a device issue.
- Wired Connection Cables: When using a wired connection for CarPlay or Android Auto, always use the original data cable that came with your phone, as it is designed for reliable data transmission.
- Screen Clarity: If you experience blurriness or difficulty viewing the screen, especially with polarized sunglasses, try adjusting the VCOM parameters in the device settings. This can significantly improve visual comfort.
