8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your LUCKING DOOR I60 system, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Fingerprint Not Recognized: Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Place your finger flat on the sensor, covering the entire area. Try re-registering your fingerprint if the issue persists.
- "Invalid ID" or "Re-verified" Message: This usually indicates an incorrect work number or password entry, or an unregistered fingerprint. Double-check the entered credentials or ensure the user is properly registered.
- Data Export Failure: Ensure the USB flash drive is properly inserted and formatted correctly (FAT32 is generally recommended). Check if the USB drive has sufficient storage space.
- Device Not Powering On: Verify that the power adapter is securely connected to both the device and a working power outlet.
- Screen Unresponsive: Try restarting the device by unplugging and re-plugging the power. If the issue continues, a factory reset might be necessary (note: this will erase data).
For persistent issues not covered here, please contact customer support.
9. User Tips
- Clear Fingerprint Registration: When registering fingerprints, ensure the finger is placed firmly and consistently on the sensor for all three scans to improve recognition accuracy.
- Utilize Voice Prompts: Pay attention to the live voice prompts during operation. They provide immediate feedback and help prevent common errors during clock-in/out.
- Regular Data Backup: Periodically export attendance data to a USB flash drive and store it securely on a computer. This ensures data integrity and provides a backup in case of device issues.
- Administrator Access: Designate at least one reliable employee as an administrator to manage user registrations, shift settings, and data exports.
- Keep Software Updated: While not explicitly mentioned, it's generally good practice to check the manufacturer's website for any firmware updates that might improve performance or add features.
