4. Setup

  1. Unpacking and Inspection: Carefully unpack all components. Inspect the machine and accessories for any signs of damage during transit. Report any damage to the supplier immediately.
  2. Placement: Place the machine on a stable, level surface in a well-ventilated area.
  3. Power Connection: Ensure the machine is connected to a power supply matching the specified voltage (220V or 110V, depending on your model). The machine requires a 16A fuse.
  4. Connecting Welding Guns: Attach the desired welding gun to the machine's output port. Ensure a secure connection.
  5. Grounding: Connect the ground clamp securely to a clean, bare metal part of the vehicle or workpiece, close to the repair area.

5. Operating Instructions

Before operating, ensure all safety precautions are observed.

5.1 Powering On and Mode Selection

  1. Turn the Power Switch & Regulation knob (6) to the 'ON' position. The Power Indicator (9) should illuminate.
  2. Select the desired welding mode using the Tool Select icons (1-5) on the control panel.
  3. Choose between 'Manual' or 'Automatic' operation using the Manual/Automatic Switch (7).
  4. Adjust the welding power using the Power Switch & Regulation knob (6) according to the thickness and type of metal being worked on.

5.2 Dent Pulling Operation

For dent pulling, attach the appropriate pulling accessory (e.g., triangular meson, round meson, OT meson, wavy line) to the welding gun. For larger dents, the slide hammer (dent puller) can be used in conjunction with these accessories.

  2. Select the appropriate meson or wavy line for the dent size and shape.
  3. Attach the chosen accessory to the welding gun.
  4. Place the accessory firmly against the dented metal surface.

  6. Once welded, attach the slide hammer or draw hook to the accessory.
  7. Gently pull the dent outwards. Repeat as necessary, moving across the dented area.

5.3 Carbon Rod Heating Operation

For shrinking stretched metal or minor surface imperfections, use the carbon rod heating function.

  1. Attach the carbon rod chuck and a carbon rod to the welding gun.
  2. Select the 'Carbon Rod to Close the Fire' mode.
  3. Lightly touch the carbon rod to the metal surface in the area to be shrunk.
  4. Observe the metal for a slight glow. Do not overheat.
  5. Allow the metal to cool naturally or use a damp cloth to cool it, which helps in shrinking.
