4. Setup and Connection
Follow these steps to connect your KVM switch:
- Connect USB Cables: Use the provided USB-A to USB-B cables to connect the USB ports (USB1-USB8) on the KVM switch to the USB ports on your PCs (PC1-PC8).
- Connect HDMI Input Cables: Use HDMI cables to connect the HDMI input ports (HD IN1-HD IN8) on the KVM switch to the HDMI output ports on your PCs (PC1-PC8).
- Connect HDMI Output Cable: Use one HDMI cable to connect the HDMI OUT port on the KVM switch to the HDMI input port of your monitor or display device.
- Connect Peripherals: Connect your keyboard and mouse to the dedicated K/M (Keyboard/Mouse) USB ports on the KVM switch. Connect any other USB 2.0 devices (e.g., printer, U-disk, gamepad) to the USB2.0 interface ports.
- Power On: Plug the power adapter into the DC 12V power interface of the KVM switch and then into a power outlet. Turn on the OFF/ON power switch. The system is running normally when the PC indicator lights up.

5. Panel Layout

6. Operation
The KVM switch offers two convenient methods for switching between connected computers:
6.1. Button Switching
Simply press the 'SWITCH' button on the front panel of the KVM device to cycle through the connected PCs (PC1, PC2, etc.). The corresponding LED indicator will light up to show which PC is currently active.
6.2. Hotkey Switching
You can switch between computers using keyboard hotkeys. The supported hotkey combinations are:
- Press 'Scroll Lock' twice, followed by the number corresponding to the PC (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8). For example, 'Scroll Lock + Scroll Lock + 1' to switch to PC1.
- Alternatively, press 'Ctrl' twice, followed by the number corresponding to the PC (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8). For example, 'Ctrl + Ctrl + 1' to switch to PC1.
If the Ctrl hotkey commands conflict with other software, you can disable them by entering the sequence: (Ctrl + Ctrl + C + T + R + L + 0). To re-enable the Ctrl hotkey command, enter: (Scroll Lock + Scroll Lock + C + T + R + L + 1).

- Check the resolution settings on your computer; ensure they are compatible with the KVM switch and your monitor (up to 4Kx2K@30Hz).
- Keyboard/Mouse Not Responding:
- Ensure the keyboard and mouse are connected to the dedicated K/M USB ports on the KVM switch.
- Try reconnecting the keyboard and mouse.
- Test the keyboard and mouse directly with the computer to ensure they are functional.
- If using hotkey switching, ensure the hotkey function is not disabled (refer to Section 6.2).
- USB Peripherals Not Detected:
- Ensure USB peripherals are connected to the USB2.0 ports.
- Try connecting the peripheral directly to the computer to confirm functionality.
- Restart the KVM switch and the connected computer.
- Intermittent Switching:
