5. Troubleshooting
5.1 General Tips
- Always read the manual carefully before using the headset.
- Ensure the headset is fully charged before first-time use.
- Use chargers made by qualified manufacturers.
5.2 Common Issues and Solutions
- Headset cannot be found by phone / Cannot connect:
- Delete the pairing record for the headset on your phone.
- Re-enter pairing mode on the headset (power off, then press and hold MFB for 4s/5s).
- If a program error occurs on your phone, turn off and on the Bluetooth function or reboot the phone.
- No sound / Low volume:
- First, try pressing the VOL+ button on the headset.
- For Android phones: In your phone's Bluetooth settings, check the settings for "phone audio" and "media audio" for the connected headset. Toggle them off and on. If still no sound, re-pair the headset. Also, check the "Absolute Volume" setting in Developer Options and ensure it's off, and "Volume Sync" in Bluetooth settings is on.
- For iPhone: Go to "Settings" > "Sound & Haptics" > "Headphone Safety". Turn off "Reduce High Volume" and adjust the volume in decibels to 100%.
- Check if the dust filter on the earpieces is blocked and clean it if necessary.
- Restore the headset to factory settings, clear the phone's connection record, and try connecting again.
- Audio lag / Stuttering (video/game):
- Audio delay can be affected by the usage environment, network conditions, and phone's audio codec.
- Try changing your environment or re-pairing the headset.
- For Android phones, it is recommended to choose the SBC codec in developer options for optimal low-latency performance.
- Microphone Quality: The QCY H2 / H2 Pro features ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation) for HD calling. This technology helps to pick up your voice precisely and reduce environmental noise for the person on the other end of the call, ensuring clear communication even in noisy environments like subways or bus stations. Note that this is ENC for calls, not ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) for listening.
