- **MIX OUTPUT:** Unbalanced 6.3mm (1/4") output for mixed audio from both microphones.
- **POWER Input:** DC13-15V 450mA power input.
Handheld Microphones
The system includes two handheld microphones, each with its own display and controls.
- **LCD Display:** Shows current frequency and battery status.
- **POWER Button:** To turn the microphone on or off.
- **Battery Compartment:** Located at the bottom, holds two AA batteries.
- **IR Sensor:** For synchronization with the receiver.
Setup
- **Connect Antennas:** Screw the two external antennas securely into the ANT-A and ANT-B connectors on the rear of the receiver. Position them vertically for optimal reception.
- **Power Connection:** Connect the provided power adapter to the DC13-15V 450mA input on the receiver's rear panel, then plug it into a suitable power outlet.
- **Audio Output:**
- For individual microphone outputs, connect XLR cables from MIC-A OUTPUT and MIC-B OUTPUT to your mixer or amplifier.
- For a mixed output, connect a 6.3mm (1/4") cable from the MIX OUTPUT to your mixer or amplifier.
Figure 6: Audio Output Interfaces - **Install Microphone Batteries:** Unscrew the bottom part of each handheld microphone and insert two AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Screw the bottom back on.
- **Power On:** Press the POWER button on the receiver to turn it on. Then, press the POWER button on each microphone.
- **IR Synchronization:**
- On the receiver, use the SET buttons to select the desired channel for Microphone A.
- Hold the IR sensor of Microphone A close to the IR sensor on the receiver.
- Press the IR sync button (usually labeled 'SET' or 'IR') on the receiver. The microphone and receiver should synchronize, and the microphone's display will show the matching frequency.
- Repeat this process for Microphone B.
Figure 7: IR Synchronization - **Auto Scan (Optional but Recommended):** If you experience interference, use the one-key auto scan function on the receiver to find the best available clean frequency. Refer to the operating instructions for details.
Operating Instructions
- **Power On/Off:**
- To turn on the system, press the POWER button on the receiver, then on each microphone.
- To turn off, press the POWER button on each microphone, then on the receiver.
- **Frequency Selection (Manual):**
- On the receiver, use the 'SET' buttons to navigate to the frequency adjustment mode.
- Select the desired frequency for each channel (A and B).
- Perform IR synchronization after changing frequencies.
- **Auto Scan for Clean Frequency:**
- Press the 'SET' button on the receiver to initiate the auto scan function.
- The receiver will automatically search for and select a clear, interference-free frequency.
- Once a new frequency is selected, perform IR synchronization with the corresponding microphone.
Figure 8: Auto Scan Function - **Volume Control:** Adjust the volume levels on your connected mixer or amplifier. The microphones do not have independent volume controls.
- **Tone-Key ID:** The system employs a special tone-key ID function to prevent crosstalk and dropouts, ensuring a stable connection.
Maintenance
- **Cleaning:** Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the receiver and microphones. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- **Storage:** Store the system in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- **Battery Care:** Remove batteries from microphones if they will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage.
- **Antennas:** Handle antennas with care to avoid bending or breaking.
