4. Setup Instructions

4.1. Charging the Device

1. Connect the provided charging cable to the USB port on the PA-1 amplifier.
2. Connect the other end of the charging cable to a DC5V, >300mA power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
3. The power indicator will show charging status. Ensure the device is fully charged before first use.

Note: Charge the battery every 2 months even if not in use to maintain battery health.

4.2. Connecting to Your Guitar

1. Insert the standard 1/4-inch audio plug of the PA-1 directly into your electric guitar's output jack.
2. Ensure a secure connection.

4.3. Connecting Headphones or Speakers

1. For wired listening, plug your headphones into the standard 1/8-inch (3.5mm) headphone output jack on the PA-1.
2. For wireless listening, ensure your wireless earbuds or Bluetooth headphones are in pairing mode.
3. Press the 'BT' button on the PA-1 to activate Bluetooth pairing. The BT indicator will flash.
4. Select 'LEKATO PA-1' from your headphone's Bluetooth device list to connect. The BT indicator will become solid when connected.

4.4. Internal Recording Setup

1. Connect the provided internal recording cable to the USB port of the PA-1.
2. Connect the other end of the internal recording cable to your mobile phone or computer.
3. Use appropriate recording software or applications on your device to capture audio.

5.1. Power On/Off

Press and hold the ON/OFF button to power the device on or off.

5.2. Selecting Effects and Adjusting Parameters

The PA-1 offers a range of effects and adjustable parameters:

3. The corresponding LED indicators will light up to show the active parameter.

5.3. Using the Tuner

The PA-1 features a built-in high-sensitivity tuner.

1. Press the TUNER button to activate the tuner.
2. Play a single string on your guitar. The LEDs labeled E, A, D, G, B, E will indicate the detected note.
3. The numbered LEDs (1-10) will show if the note is flat, in tune, or sharp. Adjust your string until the 'In Tune' indicator is lit.
4. Press the TUNER button again to exit tuner mode.

5.4. Storing Presets

After adjusting your desired effects and parameters:

1. Press the STORE button.
2. Follow the on-screen or indicator prompts to select a preset slot (if available) and confirm saving.

5.5. Bypass Function

Press the BYPASS button to temporarily disable all active effects and hear your guitar's dry signal.

5.6. Wireless Music Playback

Once connected via Bluetooth (as described in Section 4.3), you can play music from your paired device (e.g., smartphone, tablet) through the PA-1's headphone output, allowing you to play along with backing tracks.
