1. Introduction

2. Safety Information

  • Always ensure your camera or device is securely mounted and all locks are tightened before use.
  • Do not exceed the maximum bearing load of 6KG.
  • Avoid exposing the tripod to extreme temperatures or corrosive environments.

4. Assembly and Setup

4.1 Unfolding the Tripod

  1. Place the tripod on a flat, stable surface.
  2. Release the leg locks (quick stretch buckles) on each leg.
  3. Extend the legs to your desired height and angle.
  4. Securely fasten all leg locks to ensure stability.

4.2 Adjusting Tripod Height and Angle

  • Leg Extension: Pull the buckle open on each leg section to extend or retract. Ensure buckles are fully closed after adjustment. The tripod can extend up to 160cm (62.99in).
  • Leg Angle Adjustment: The legs feature snap-locks for multi-angle adjustment, allowing for various shooting positions.
  • Central Column: Loosen the central column lock to adjust its height. Tighten firmly once set.

4.3 Attaching Your Device

  1. Quick Release Plate: Attach the Arca Swiss Quick Release Plate to the bottom of your camera or device. Ensure it is securely fastened.
  2. Mounting to Fluid Head: Slide the quick release plate with your device into the fluid head's receiver. Lock the plate securely using the locking knob.
  3. Detachable Handle: Attach the detachable handle to the fluid head. It can be switched to either the left or right side for comfortable operation.

4.4 Using the Multifunctional Phone Holder

The phone holder is designed for smartphones with a stretch range of 55-93mm.

  • Mounting: Attach the phone holder to the tripod's 1/4" thread screw.
  • Phone Placement: Use the stretch adjust knob to secure your smartphone.
  • Angle Adjustment: The phone holder features a 360° angle adjustment knob for optimal viewing.
  • Cold Shoe Mount: A cold shoe mount is integrated for attaching accessories like microphones or LED lights.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Fluid Drag Pan Head Operation

The fluid drag pan head allows for smooth and accurate camera movements.

  • Panning (Horizontal): Loosen the panning lock knob at the base of the head to rotate 360°. Tighten to secure.
  • Tilting (Vertical): Loosen the tilt lock knob to adjust the vertical angle (up to 165°). Tighten to secure.
  • Use the detachable handle for precise control during panning and tilting.

5.2 Inverting the Central Axis for Low-Angle Shots

For extremely low-angle photography or macro shots, the central axis can be inverted without tools.

  1. Remove the fluid head from the central column.
  2. Remove the central column from the tripod base.
  3. Reinsert the central column upside down into the tripod base.
  4. Reattach the fluid head to the inverted central column.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the tripod with a soft, dry cloth after each use. For stubborn dirt, use a slightly damp cloth and mild soap, then dry thoroughly.
  • Lubrication: The fluid head is designed for smooth operation and generally does not require user lubrication. If movement becomes stiff, contact support.
  • Storage: Store the tripod in its carry bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
  • Inspection: Periodically check all screws, locks, and joints for tightness and wear. Tighten any loose components.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Tripod is unstable: Ensure all leg sections are fully extended and their locks are securely fastened. Check that the central column lock is tight. Verify the quick release plate is properly seated and locked on the fluid head.
  • Head movement is stiff: Check for any debris or obstructions. Ensure all locking knobs on the fluid head are sufficiently loosened for movement.
  • Device not fitting phone holder: Confirm your smartphone's width is within the 55-93mm stretch range.
