Setup and Operation
1. Setting Time and Date
- **Time Setting:** Pull the crown (the knob on the side of the watch) out to the furthest position. Rotate the crown to adjust the hour and minute hands to the correct time. Push the crown back in to start the watch.
- **Date Setting:** Pull the crown out to the middle position. Rotate the crown to adjust the date. Be careful not to adjust the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can damage the movement. Push the crown back in to the normal position once set.
2. Using the Chronograph Function
The chronograph allows you to measure elapsed time. Your watch features three subdials and two pushers (buttons) on the side, in addition to the crown.
- **Start/Stop:** Press the top pusher to start the chronograph. Press it again to stop.
- **Reset:** With the chronograph stopped, press the bottom pusher to reset all chronograph hands to zero.
- **Subdials:** The subdials typically indicate chronograph seconds, minutes, and a 24-hour display or moon phase indicator. Refer to the specific markings on your watch dial for precise readings.
3. Luminous Display
The hands and hour markers of your LIGE watch are treated with a luminous material. After absorbing sufficient light (from natural or artificial sources), they will emit a glow in low-light conditions, allowing for easy time reading in the dark.

4. Water Resistance (3BAR / 30M)
Your watch is water-resistant to 3BAR, which is equivalent to 30 meters. This rating means the watch is suitable for daily use, such as handwashing, washing your face, and light rain exposure. It is NOT suitable for showering, bathing, swimming, diving, or any activities involving submersion or exposure to hot water/steam.
- Do NOT operate the crown or pushers when the watch is wet or submerged.
- Ensure the crown is fully pushed in at all times when near water.

Maintenance
- **Cleaning:** Regularly wipe your watch with the provided cleaning wipe or a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and fingerprints. For the stainless steel band, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying.
- **Avoid Chemicals:** Keep the watch away from solvents, detergents, perfumes, and cosmetics, as these can damage the case, strap, or seals.
- **Temperature Extremes:** Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures (hot or cold) or sudden temperature changes, which can affect the movement and water resistance.
- **Magnetic Fields:** Keep the watch away from strong magnetic fields (e.g., speakers, refrigerators, mobile phones) to prevent interference with the quartz movement.
- **Strap Adjustment:** If the stainless steel strap needs adjustment (e.g., removing links), it is recommended to have this done by a professional watch repair service to avoid damage.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Watch not running | Crown pulled out; battery depleted. | Push crown fully in. If still not running, the battery may need replacement by a professional. |
| Time/Date incorrect | Accidental adjustment; not set correctly. | Refer to "Setting Time and Date" section to re-adjust. |
| Chronograph hands not resetting to zero | Requires calibration. | Consult a professional watch repair service for calibration. |
| Condensation/Water inside dial | Water resistance compromised. | Immediately take the watch to a professional for inspection and repair to prevent further damage. |
User Tips
- For optimal longevity of the luminous feature, expose the watch to bright light for a few minutes before entering dark environments.
- While the watch is water-resistant, it's always best to remove it before engaging in water sports or activities where it might be submerged for extended periods.
- Consider having the watch's water resistance seals checked periodically by a professional, especially after a few years of use, to ensure continued protection.
