5. Installation

Proper installation is crucial for the optimal performance and safety of your AIKE AK7120. It requires a matching basin design and professional installation.

  1. Prepare the Installation Area: Ensure sufficient space under the counter for the main unit (315x216x191mm). The faucet requires a mounting hole on the basin/countertop.
  2. Mount the Faucet: Secure the faucet unit onto the basin or countertop. Ensure the platen is correctly positioned.
  3. Connect Water Supply: Connect the water inlet to your cold and hot water lines. Ensure all connections are watertight.
  4. Install the Main Unit: Mount the under-counter main unit securely. Refer to the dimensions provided in Figure 4 for proper placement. The unit should be at least 3.5cm from the wall and 55cm below the platen.
  5. Connect Air Duct: Connect the flexible air duct from the faucet to the main unit.
  6. Electrical Connection: Connect the power cable to a suitable electrical outlet (AC100-130V or AC220-240V, depending on your model). Ensure the power is off during connection.
  7. Test Functionality: After installation, turn on the water and power supply. Test both the washing and drying functions to ensure proper operation and check for any leaks.

6. Operation

The AIKE AK7120 is designed for touchless and intuitive operation:

  1. Hand Washing: Place your hands under the faucet. The intelligent sensor will detect your hands and activate the water flow. Remove your hands to stop the water.
  2. Hand Drying: After washing, move your hands to the drying area of the faucet. The air dryer will automatically activate, blowing high-speed air to dry your hands. The respiration light will provide a visual cue during drying.
  3. Smart Heating System: The unit features a smart heating system. If the room temperature is below 25°C, it will blow warm air. If the room temperature exceeds 25°C, it will blow cool air to prevent discomfort.
  4. Adjusting Air Speed: The under-counter unit has controls for adjusting the air speed (four gears available). You can also activate the 'Smart Warm' switch for intelligent heating or 'Heat' for forced heating.
