6.3 Adjusting Headphone Volume

  1. Adjust the "MAIN" volume fader to set the overall output level.
  2. Then, adjust the "PHONES" knob to control the headphone volume.
  3. Note: The headphones will monitor the same sound as the main output.

6.4 Using Bluetooth Function

    • The system defaults to "BLUE" state.
    • If not in "BLUE" state, long press the "MODE" button to enter Bluetooth waiting state. The "Bluetooth symbol" on the screen will flash.
    • Upon successful connection, the "Bluetooth symbol" will remain steadily lit.
  2. Volume Adjustment:
    • Press down the "CH-4/USB" button.
    • Rotate the "CH-4/USB" knob to adjust the channel volume.
    • Adjust the "MAIN" volume fader for overall output.

6.5 USB Playback

6.6 USB Recording

  1. Record Format: MP3.
  2. Recording Sample Frequency: 16 Bit 48KHz.
  3. The USB disk cannot be empty to initiate recording.
  4. Long press the "REC" button to enter recording mode.
  5. Long press "REC" again to exit recording. After exiting, the recorded file will be played automatically.

6.7 Using the GAIN Knob

  1. When the "MAIN" fader is at the "0" position and the channel volume knob provides sufficient output, there is no need to adjust the "GAIN" knob.
  2. If the output volume is insufficient, adjust the "GAIN" knob.
  3. The "PEAK" light should not be constantly on. If it is, the signal is distorted. Reduce the GAIN.
  4. Adjusting "GAIN" will also increase input noise, so use it judiciously.

6.8 Using the AUX Port

AUX outputs are TS (Tip-Sleeve) outputs, meaning only one side (mono) will have sound if connected to a stereo input.

  1. Connecting Other Devices:
    • Equalizer
    • Effects processor
    • Monitor headphones (will only work on one side)
    • Monitor speakers (will only work on one speaker)
  2. AUX OUT Volume Adjustment:
    • Adjust the channel "AUX1/AUX2" knob.
    • Adjust the master control "AUX1/AUX2" knob.
  3. FX to AUX1: To add effects to AUX1, adjust the channel "FX" knob and the "FX TO AUX1" knob. (The master "EFFECT" knob is not needed for this).

8. Troubleshooting

8.1 Bluetooth Connection Issues

Problem: An unknown device is always connected via Bluetooth, or you wish to disconnect/unauthorize a device.

Solution: To disconnect or unpair a device, you typically need to do this from the connected device itself (e.g., your phone or computer). On the mixer, long-pressing the "MODE" button will put it into pairing mode, allowing you to connect a new device, which might override a previous connection. If a device is persistently connected, ensure no other Bluetooth devices in the vicinity are automatically pairing with the mixer.

8.2 Signal Distortion (PEAK LED)

Problem: The PEAK LED on a channel is constantly lit.

Solution: This indicates that the input signal is too strong and causing distortion. Reduce the GAIN knob for that specific channel until the PEAK LED only flashes occasionally or not at all.

8.3 USB Disk Not Working

Problem: USB disk is not recognized or files cannot be played.

Solution: Ensure the USB disk is formatted to FAT32. NTFS format is not supported. Also, verify that the audio files are in a supported format (MP3, FLAC, WAV, WMA).

9. User Tips

  • Phantom Power Usage: Remember that 48V phantom power is exclusively for XLR inputs and condenser microphones. Do NOT activate it when using dynamic microphones or LINE inputs to avoid potential damage.
  • USB Compatibility: Always format your USB drives to FAT32 for proper functionality. Note that USB microphones are not compatible with the mixer's USB interface.
  • Bluetooth Pairing: If you're having trouble connecting via Bluetooth, long-press the "MODE" button on the mixer to ensure it's in pairing mode (the Bluetooth symbol will flash).
  • Screen Protection: The display screen may have a protective film; gently peel it off for better visibility.
  • Mono AUX Output: Be aware that the AUX outputs are TS (Tip-Sleeve) and will provide a mono signal. If connecting to a stereo input, you will only get sound on one side.
  • Gain Staging: Adjust your GAIN knobs carefully. Too much gain can lead to distortion (indicated by the PEAK LED), while too little can result in a weak signal. Aim for a strong signal without clipping.
