5. Setup
Before operating the AUTOOL EM365, ensure it is placed on a stable, flat surface and that all connections are secure.
5.1 Initial Connection
- Connect the power cable to the Power Input Interface (K) on the rear of the device.
- Plug the power cable into a suitable electrical outlet (110V or 220V, depending on your unit).
- Connect the power clamps to the Output Terminal (I) on the front of the device. Ensure a secure connection.
- Turn on the device using the Power Switch (J) on the rear panel.

6. Operating Modes

6.1 Programming Power Mode
This mode provides a stable voltage source for ECU programming and decoding, ensuring accurate data transmission.
- From the main menu, select 'Programmable Power Supply' using the Left/Right buttons (D, E) and confirm with the OK button (C).
- Connect the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's battery and the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal.
- Choose between 'Adjustable Mode' or 'Fixed Mode'.
- In 'Adjustable Mode', set the desired voltage within the 10.8V to 16V range using the Left/Right buttons (D, E) and confirm with OK (C).

6.2 Fast Charging Mode
This mode supports charging various 12V battery types, automatically adjusting voltage and current to optimize charging and prevent overcharging.
- From the main menu, select 'Fast Charging' using the Left/Right buttons (D, E) and confirm with the OK button (C).
- Connect the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the battery and the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal.
- Select the battery type (e.g., Standard Lead-acid, EFB, GEL, AGM Flat Plate, AGM Spiral) from the options.
- The device will automatically detect the battery's status and adjust the charging power. Charging stops when the battery is full.

6.3 Battery Restoration Mode
This function uses advanced pulse restoration technology to fix battery issues and restore batteries that have been discharged for a long time or suffered severe power loss.
- From the main menu, select 'Battery Restoration' using the Left/Right buttons (D, E) and confirm with the OK button (C).
- Important: The battery must be removed from the vehicle before restoration.
- Connect the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the battery and the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal.
- The device will begin the restoration process. Monitor the display for progress.

6.4 Vehicle Display Mode
This mode provides an uninterrupted power supply, automatically restarting during power outages, making it ideal for vehicle demonstrations in showrooms or during battery replacements.
- From the main menu, select 'Vehicle Display Mode' using the Left/Right buttons (D, E) and confirm with the OK button (C).
- Connect the power clamp wires to the vehicle's battery terminals.
- Ensure the battery voltage is within the compatible range (10.8V-16V).
- The device will provide stable power to the vehicle.

6.5 Forced Start Mode (Car Jump Starter)
The EM365 can provide up to 400A of cranking current to jump-start car engines under 5.0T displacement.
- From the main menu, select 'Forced Start' using the Left/Right buttons (D, E) and confirm with the OK button (C).
- Connect the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's battery and the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal.
- Ensure the starting current is within the compatible range of 400A.
- Start the vehicle engine. The device will provide the necessary cranking current.

7. Maintenance

- Keep the device clean and free from dust and debris. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning.
