Setup
1. Charging the Speaker
Before first use, fully charge the speaker for approximately 3 hours using the provided Type-C charging cable. Connect the Type-C cable to the speaker's charging port and the other end to a 5V/1A power adapter (not included).
2. Power On/Off
Press and hold the Power button for a few seconds to turn the speaker on or off. An indicator light will confirm the status.
3. Bluetooth Pairing
- Turn on the Groove 2 speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing blue LED.
- Enable Bluetooth on your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
- Search for "Tronsmart Groove 2" in your device's Bluetooth list and select it to connect.
- Once connected, the LED indicator will turn solid blue.
The speaker supports robust streaming within 59ft (18m) in open areas.

4. True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Pairing
To achieve ultimate stereo sound, you can pair two Tronsmart Groove 2 speakers together:
- Ensure both Groove 2 speakers are powered on and not connected to any other Bluetooth device.
- On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press the TWS button (usually indicated by two interlocking circles or a similar icon). The speaker will enter TWS pairing mode.
- The two speakers will automatically connect to each other. Once connected, the primary speaker's LED will flash blue, and the secondary speaker's LED will be solid blue.
- Now, connect your device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in step 3.
For optimal TWS performance, keep the two speakers within 10 meters of each other without obstructions.

5. AUX Mode
To play audio from a device without Bluetooth, use the provided 3.5mm Aux cable. Plug one end into the speaker's AUX-in port and the other end into your audio device's headphone jack. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.
6. SD Card Mode
Insert a compatible SD card (with music files) into the speaker's SD card slot. The speaker will automatically detect the card and begin playing music. The USB port is for charging only and does not support USB flash drives for music playback.
Operating Instructions
1. Button Functions
The speaker features several buttons for control:
- Power Button: Press and hold to turn on/off.
- Volume Up (+): Short press to increase volume. Long press for next track.
- Volume Down (-): Short press to decrease volume. Long press for previous track.
- Play/Pause Button: Short press to play/pause music. Short press to answer/end calls. Long press to reject calls. Press and hold for 8 seconds to reset the speaker.
- Mode Button (M): Short press to switch between Bluetooth, AUX, and SD Card modes.
- Light Button: Short press to cycle through LED light modes.
- EQ Button: Short press to switch between Normal and SoundPulse EQ modes.
2. LED Light Modes
The Groove 2 features a decorative LED light show that pulses with the beat of the music. You can switch between various LED lighting modes, including breathing, circle light, beat-driven light show, and turning the lights off, by pressing the Light button.

3. Dual EQ Modes
The speaker offers two Equalizer (EQ) modes to tailor your audio experience:
- Normal Mode: Standard audio profile.
- SoundPulse Mode: Enhanced bass and clearer vocals for a more impactful sound.
Press the EQ button to switch between these modes.

4. Voice Assistant
Triple-press the Play/Pause button to activate your device's voice assistant, such as Siri or Google Assistant.
Maintenance
1. IPX7 Waterproofing
The Tronsmart Groove 2 is IPX7 waterproof, meaning it can be submerged in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. This makes it suitable for use in showers, by the pool, or at the beach, fearless about splashes, sprays, or sands. Ensure the charging port cover is securely closed before exposing the speaker to water.

2. Cleaning
Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these may damage the surface or internal components.
3. Storage
Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery periodically to maintain its lifespan.
Troubleshooting
- Speaker not pairing / Blue light flashing / Cannot turn off: If the blue light is flashing and you cannot turn off or pair the speaker, reset it by pressing and holding the Play/Pause button for 8 seconds.
- Volume synchronization with Android devices: The speaker's volume controls may not synchronize with some Android devices. Adjust volume directly on your Android device if needed.
- Speaker automatically powers off: The speaker has an auto-off function. It will power off automatically after 10 minutes if it does not pair with any device via Bluetooth.
- No sound from USB: The USB port is for charging only and does not support music playback from USB flash drives. Use the SD card slot or AUX input for music.
- No built-in microphone: The Tronsmart Groove 2 does not feature a built-in microphone for calls or voice commands.
User Tips
- Always fully charge the speaker for 3 hours before its first use to optimize battery performance.
- When using True Wireless Stereo (TWS) pairing, keep the two speakers within 10 meters (33 feet) of each other for the best connection and sound quality.
