1. Introduction
The Kamoer F4 PRO V2 is a 4-channel intelligent dosing pump equipped with WiFi remote control functionality. It is designed for precise, regular, and quantitative addition of various elements essential for the growth of marine organisms in bio-cylinders (e.g., calcium, magnesium, KH enhancer, trace elements) and for plant cultivation. This automated system significantly reduces manual workload and minimizes errors associated with manual dosing.
Features
- Compact size with colored pump heads for easy distinction and aesthetic appeal.
- Four independent channels, each supporting individual flow rate calibration.
- Equipped with imported PharMed BPT pump tubing for durability and accuracy.
- Supports both local and remote control via a dedicated mobile application.
- Retains all parameters and settings even after power failure.
- Capable of remote firmware upgrades.
Applications
- Marine Breeding: Ideal for stony (SPS), soft (LPS), and mixed corals.
- Plant Cultivation: For supplementing various elements consumed during plant growth.
- General Use: Suitable for any scenario requiring timed, quantitative, and discontinuous liquid addition.

3. Setup and Installation
Important Installation Considerations
The dosing pump is a self-priming pump. To prevent siphoning or reflow, ensure the height difference between the inlet and outlet ports is within 0.5 meters. The inlet pipe should be as short as possible, and the outlet pipe should be suspended above the vessel. Always verify that inlet and outlet connections are in the correct direction.
Connecting the Dosing Pump
- Tube Connection: Connect the colored tubes to the respective pump heads. Ensure a secure, leak-proof connection. The pump heads are color-coded (green, red, yellow, blue) and corresponding tubes are included for easy identification.
- Power Connection: Connect the DC12V power adapter to the power jack (7) on the rear of the unit.
- Placement: Place the dosing pump in a stable position, adhering to the height difference guidelines mentioned above.

Connecting to the Cloud (First-time Setup)
When powered on for the first time, the red status indicator will flash slowly, indicating it's in network configuration mode.
- Ensure your wireless router is connected to the internet.
- Connect your mobile phone to the 2.4G Wi-Fi hotspot of your router (5G Wi-Fi is not supported).
- Open the Kamoer Remote App, log in, click the "+" icon in the upper right corner, select "Add Device", and choose "F4 PRO V2".
- The app will automatically search for nearby F4 PRO V2 dosing pumps via Bluetooth.
- Once found, click on the device icon to add it, and the app will enter the Wi-Fi selection page.
- Select your Wi-Fi network from the list and enter the password.
- Click "Next" to enter the connection interface. The red indicator light will flash quickly during this process.
- Upon successful connection, the app will confirm, and the red status indicator will remain solid. The dosing pump is now connected to the cloud and bound to your account.
Dosing Pump Control Interface Overview
After binding, open the App and select your dosing pump from the device list. The operation interface has three main modules:
- Plan: Set up dosing schedules (timed, quantitative, accurate) and monitor solution bottle levels. A yellow prompt will appear if reagent levels are low.
- Manual: Manually control dosing for specific amounts of solution at any time.
- Settings: Configure device name, pump head names, firmware upgrades, time synchronization, and flow calibration.
Plan Dosing
The Plan module allows you to set up automated dosing schedules.
- Pump Head Name: Configured in the Settings module for easy identification.
- Daily Addition Amount: Set the desired daily volume for each pump head.
- Cycle Period: Choose between weekly mode (select specific days) or 'per day' mode (set a frequency from 1 to 99 days).
- Solution Bottle State: Displays remaining liquid, estimated usable days, and daily addition amount.
- Plan Switch: Toggle to enable or disable the automated dosing plan for a channel.
Manual Dosing
For immediate or temporary dosing needs, use the Manual module.
- Manual Mode: Select this option to access manual controls.
- Pump Name: Select the pump head to control (names can be set in Settings).
- Drip Titration: Set the specific amount of liquid to be dosed manually. The pump will automatically stop after dispensing the set volume.
- Start/Stop Button: Initiates or halts the manual dosing process.
5. Maintenance
Flow Calibration
Regular flow calibration is crucial for maintaining the accuracy of element addition. Calibration should be performed upon first use and whenever dosing accuracy is in question.
- Navigate to the 'Settings' interface and select 'Flow Rate Calibration'.
- Choose the pump head to be calibrated.
- Start Emptying: This step removes air from the pump tube to ensure accurate calibration. Click 'Start priming' and wait until the tube is filled with water, then click to stop.
- Drip Timing: Set the duration for the calibration run.
- Ensure the pump inlet is immersed in the liquid source and the outlet is placed into a measuring cylinder.
- Click 'Start Add' to begin dosing.
- After dosing, input the volume of liquid collected in the measuring cylinder (in mL) into the app.
- Click 'Calibration Complete' to finalize the calibration.

Restoring Factory Settings
If necessary, you can restore the device to its factory settings. This will reset all parameters and settings to their default values.
- In the 'Settings' menu, select 'Factory Settings Reset'.
- Confirm the action to proceed with the reset.
6. Troubleshooting
App Connection Issues
- If the device fails to connect to Wi-Fi, restart the connection process from the beginning.
- Ensure your mobile phone is connected to a 2.4G Wi-Fi network, as 5G Wi-Fi is not supported.
- Check that the wireless router has an active internet connection.
- If the connection fails, the app will provide prompts; review these for specific reasons and solutions.
Firmware Upgrade Issues
- If a firmware upgrade fails, repeat the upgrade procedure.
- Important: Do not power off the device or exit the app during the upgrade process.
Dosing Inaccuracy
- Perform flow calibration as described in the Maintenance section.
- Ensure the inlet and outlet pipes are correctly installed and the height difference is within 0.5m to prevent siphoning or reflow.
- Check for any blockages or damage in the pump tubing.
