4. Setup
4.1 Installation
The time switch is designed for mounting on a standard 35mm DIN rail. Ensure the mounting location is dry, well-ventilated, and free from excessive vibrations or extreme temperatures.

4.2 Wiring
WARNING: All wiring should be performed by a qualified electrician and in accordance with local electrical codes. Ensure power is disconnected before attempting any wiring.
The timer has terminals for Line (L), Neutral (N), and output contacts (NO, NC, Common). Refer to the diagrams below for typical wiring configurations.


4.3 Initial Power-up
Once wired correctly, apply power to the device. The LCD will illuminate and display the current time. If the display is blank, check the power supply and, for the 16A model, ensure the CR2032 battery is correctly installed.
5. Operating Instructions
The timer features a MENU button, UP/DOWN arrow buttons, an OK button, and a Reset (Res) button.

5.1 Setting Current Time
- Press the 'MENU' button.
- Use the 'UP' and 'DOWN' arrow buttons to adjust the hour and minute.
- Press 'OK' to confirm each setting.
- Press 'MENU' again to return to the clock display.
5.2 Programming ON/OFF Cycles
The timer supports up to 96 ON/OFF programs. Each program can be set for specific days of the week.
- Press the 'MENU' button to enter programming mode. The display will show '00:00' or a program number.
- Use 'UP' and 'DOWN' to set the desired ON time (hour and minute). Press 'OK' to confirm.
- Next, set the desired OFF time (hour and minute). Press 'OK' to confirm.
- Use 'UP' and 'DOWN' to select the days of the week for this program (e.g., Mon-Fri, Sat-Sun, or individual days). Press 'OK' to confirm.

- Press 'MENU' to exit programming mode and save settings.

To manually switch the timer's output, press the 'OK' button. This will cycle through the modes: ON (always on), AUTO (follows programmed schedule), and OFF (always off).

6.1 Battery Replacement (TM929AKL 16A only)
The TM929AKL (16A) model uses a replaceable CR2032 battery. If the display becomes dim or the time settings are lost frequently during power outages, the battery may need replacement. Carefully open the battery compartment and replace the CR2032 battery, ensuring correct polarity. The TM929BKL (30A) model has a non-replaceable internal battery.
6.2 General Care
Keep the device clean and dry. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the protective cover is closed to prevent dust and moisture ingress.
7. Troubleshooting
- Display is blank: Check the main power supply. For the 16A model, check the CR2032 battery.
- Timer not switching: Verify wiring connections are secure and correct. Ensure the timer is in 'AUTO' mode. Check that programs are set correctly and not conflicting.
- Incorrect time: Reset the timer using the 'Res' button and reprogram the current time.
- Programs not executing: Ensure the timer is in 'AUTO' mode. Check that the ON/OFF times and days are correctly set.
7.1 Resetting the Timer
