1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the LoadKey & Carlinkit Wireless CarPlay and Android Auto Adapter. This device allows you to integrate your smartphone's features, such as navigation, music, and voice control, with your car's Android head unit.

2. Compatibility

This product is designed for use with aftermarket Android car radios/head units. It is not compatible with original car systems.

  • Car OS System: Android version 4.4 and above.
  • Supported Phones: iPhone (iOS 10 and above) and Android phones (Android 4.4 and above).

Important Note:

  • This product only supports Android system car/radio/navigation/car display. It does NOT support original car systems.
  • If your car cannot install APK files, you cannot use this product.
  • If your car has an original car screen (not an aftermarket Android unit), you cannot use this product.

3. Package Contents

The package typically includes:

  • LoadKey & Carlinkit Wireless CarPlay Adapter (Model: CPC200-autokit or CPC200-CCPA)
  • USB Cable

4. Setup Instructions

4.1. AutoKit APK Installation

Before using the adapter, you must install the AutoKit APK on your Android car radio. You can download the APK from: http://121.40.123.198:8080/autokit/autokit.apk

  1. Check Android Version: Ensure your car's Android system is version 4.4 or above. Navigate to "Settings" > "Android Settings" / "Settings Information" / "Version Information" on your car screen.
  2. Connect to Network: Connect your car's head unit to a Wi-Fi network.
  3. Plug in Adapter: Plug the Carlinkit adapter into a USB port on your car's head unit. Wait approximately 30 seconds for the "USB flash drive icon" to appear on the top line of your car screen.
  4. Install APK: Open a file browser application (e.g., ES Browser or File Manager) on your car screen. Locate and install the "BoxHelper APK" or "Autokit APK" file.

4.2. Initial Connection

Once the AutoKit APK is installed, open the AutoKit application on your car's Android head unit.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Apple CarPlay Wireless Connection

  1. Open the AutoKit APP on your car's head unit.
  2. Ensure the Carlinkit adapter is plugged into the USB port.
  3. On your iPhone, turn on both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
  4. Go to your iPhone's Bluetooth settings and pair with the Bluetooth name displayed on your car's screen (e.g., "AutoKit-xxxx").
  5. After successful pairing, wait a moment for Wireless CarPlay to activate.

Note: Make sure your iPhone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are not connected to other devices, otherwise it will lead to connection failure.

5.2. Android Auto Wireless Connection

  1. Open the AutoKit APP on your car's head unit.
  2. Ensure the Carlinkit adapter is plugged into the USB port.
  3. On your Android phone, turn on both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
  4. Go to your Android phone's Bluetooth settings and pair with the Bluetooth name displayed on your car's screen (e.g., "AutoKit-xxxx").
  5. After successful pairing, wait a moment for Wireless Android Auto to activate.

Note: Make sure your Android phone's Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are not connected to other devices, otherwise it will lead to connection failure.

5.3. Screen Mirrorlink (Wired)

The adapter supports wired screen mirroring for both iPhone and Android phones. This allows you to display content from your phone, such as YouTube and Netflix, directly onto your car's screen.

  • Connect your iPhone or Android phone to the adapter using a USB cable.
  • Select the Mirrorlink option within the AutoKit application on your car's screen.

5.4. Voice Control

Utilize voice commands for a safer driving experience:

  • Siri (for iPhone): Simply say "Hey Siri" or press the voice command button to activate Siri.
  • Google Assistant (for Android): Say "Hey Google" or press the voice command button to activate Google Assistant.

You can use voice commands for navigation, making calls, playing music, and more.

The adapter supports popular navigation and music applications:

  • Navigation: Access applications like Waze and Google Maps directly on your car's screen.

Q: Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto connection fails.

Q: The product does not work with my car.
A: This product is only compatible with aftermarket Android car radios running Android 4.4 or above. It is not compatible with original factory car systems or cars that cannot install APK files. Verify your car's system compatibility as described in Section 2.
Q: How to update the software?
A: The AutoKit app supports online upgrades. Open the app and check for available updates to optimize your experience.
