7. Operating Instructions

7.1. Power On/Off

Press and hold the 'OK' button for approximately 2 seconds to turn the device on or off. A short press of the 'OK' button confirms selections within menus.

7.2. Adjusting Parameters

The Macaron Max features an all-parameters settable color screen. Use the navigation buttons (up/down) and the 'OK' button to adjust settings such as:

  • PreHt (Preheating Pulse): Adjust the duration of the initial pulse to clean the surface oxide layer and reduce spark splashing.
  • Pulse (Main Pulse): Adjust the duration of the main welding pulse for effective and firm welding.
  • HtGap (Heat Gap): Adjust the time interval between the preheating and main pulses.
