1. Introduction
The KERUI D121 is a wireless door and window magnetic sensor alarm system designed to enhance home security. It features a loud 120dB siren to deter intruders and offers multiple operating modes including normal alarm, doorbell, and SOS functions. The system is expandable, allowing connection with additional remote controls and various detectors like PIR sensors, smoke detectors, and emergency buttons.

2. Product Components
The KERUI D121 system typically includes the following components:
- Main Alarm Unit (Host): Contains the siren, power switch, setting button, and battery compartment.
- Magnetic Strip (Magnet Box): The smaller component that works in conjunction with the main unit to detect opening.
- Remote Control: Used for arming, disarming, voice mode switching, and SOS function.
- AAA Batteries: (Not included in all packages, check product description) Required for powering the main alarm unit.

3. Setup Instructions
3.1. Battery Installation
The main alarm unit requires 2 AAA batteries (not included). The remote control typically comes with a pre-installed battery, but may require replacement over time.
- Gently slide open the battery compartment cover on the back of the main alarm unit.
- Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.

3.2. Mounting the Sensor
The KERUI D121 is designed for easy installation using double-sided adhesive tape.
- Identify a suitable location on your door or window frame. The main alarm unit and magnetic strip should be mounted on the same plane (e.g., both on the door, or one on the door and one on the frame).
- Clean the surface thoroughly to ensure good adhesion.
- Peel off the protective backing from the double-sided tape on both the main alarm unit and the magnetic strip.
- Attach the main alarm unit to the desired location.
- Attach the magnetic strip adjacent to the main alarm unit. Ensure the alignment marks (arrows or lines) on both components are aligned.
- The gap between the main alarm unit and the magnetic strip should be no more than approximately 10mm (0.39 inches) when the door/window is closed. A larger gap may prevent proper detection.

3.3. Pairing Remote Controls and Detectors
The D121 system can learn up to 20 remote controls and 10 detectors per defense zone (it has four defense zones, allowing for over 40 detectors in total).
- Ensure the main alarm unit is powered on.
- Locate the 'Setting Button' on the main alarm unit (refer to the Component Analysis image).
- Press and hold the 'Setting Button' until you hear a beep or see an indicator light flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
- While in pairing mode, press any button on the remote control you wish to pair, or trigger the detector (e.g., separate the magnetic strip from the main unit).
- The main unit will emit a confirmation sound or light flash if pairing is successful.
- Repeat the process for all additional remote controls and detectors.
4. Operating Modes and Functions
The KERUI D121 offers several operating modes and functions controlled via the remote control.

4.1. Arming and Disarming
Use the remote control to arm or disarm the system:
- Arm Button: Activates the alarm system. When armed, opening the protected door/window will trigger the siren.
- Disarm Button: Deactivates the alarm system.
4.2. Alarm Modes
The system supports different alarm behaviors:
- Normal Alarm Mode: When triggered, the 120dB siren will sound for 60 seconds.
- Alarm and Stop Mode: When triggered, the 120dB siren will sound and stop once the door/window is closed again.
