Maintenance
- Keep the remote control units dry. Do not expose them to moisture or rain.
- Clean the units with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Store the remote in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- If storing for an extended period, remove the AAA batteries from the receiver to prevent leakage.
- Ensure the battery in the transmitter (CR2032) is replaced when the indicator light becomes dim or unresponsive.
Troubleshooting
- Remote not triggering camera:
- Ensure both the transmitter and receiver are powered on.
- Check the batteries in both units. Replace if necessary.
- Verify that the shutter release cable is securely connected to both the receiver and the camera.
- Confirm that the camera is set to the correct shooting mode (e.g., Single, Continuous, Bulb).
- Ensure the camera's remote control settings are enabled, if applicable.
- Check the distance between the transmitter and receiver; ensure it's within the 80m range and there are no major obstructions.
- Intermittent connection:
- Move closer to the camera to rule out range issues.
- Check for potential sources of 2.4GHz interference (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, other wireless devices).
- Ensure batteries are fresh.
- Camera shake still present:
- Ensure you are using the remote for triggering, not manually pressing the camera's shutter button.
- For long exposures, use a sturdy tripod.
User Tips
- Battery Check: Always check the transmitter battery by pressing the Delay button; a red indicator confirms power.
- Multiple Cameras: The AODELAN PEBBLE can control multiple cameras simultaneously if each camera is equipped with its own receiver unit.
- Wired Backup: The receiver can be used as a wired remote if the transmitter battery dies or if wireless interference is an issue.
- Cable Selection: Double-check your camera model against the compatibility table to ensure you have the correct N-series cable for optimal performance.
