Operating with Accessories
Once the accessories are correctly installed, your Dreame Bot L10 Pro series robot vacuum is ready for operation. These parts work in conjunction to provide efficient cleaning:
- Side Brushes: Sweep dust and debris from edges and corners, directing them towards the main brush.
- Main Brush: Agitates and lifts dirt from carpets and hard floors, feeding it into the suction inlet.
- HEPA Filter: Filters out fine particles from the air as it passes through the dustbin, preventing them from being released back into your home.
- Mop Pads: When wet, they wipe hard floor surfaces to remove stains and fine dust after vacuuming.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance of your robot vacuum's accessories is crucial for optimal performance and longevity. The frequency of cleaning and replacement depends on usage and environment.
1. Side Brushes
- Cleaning: Regularly check for hair or debris tangled around the brushes. Use a cleaning tool or scissors to carefully cut and remove any tangles. Wipe the brushes with a damp cloth.
- Replacement: Replace side brushes every 3-6 months, or when they become visibly worn or bent, to ensure effective edge cleaning.
2. Main Brush
- Cleaning: Remove the main brush and use the provided cleaning tool (if available) or scissors to cut and remove any hair or debris wrapped around it. Clean the brush bearings as well.
- Replacement: Replace the main brush every 6-12 months, or if bristles are significantly worn or damaged, to maintain strong suction and cleaning efficiency.
3. HEPA Filters
- Cleaning: Tap the filter gently over a trash can to remove accumulated dust. Do NOT wash HEPA filters with water, as this can damage the filter material.
- Replacement: Replace HEPA filters every 2-3 months, or more frequently if you have pets or allergies, to maintain optimal filtration performance.
4. Mop Pads
- Cleaning: After each use, remove the mop pad and wash it thoroughly with water. Hand washing is recommended to preserve the fabric. Allow it to air dry completely before reattaching.
- Replacement: Replace mop pads every 3-6 months, or when they show signs of wear, reduced absorbency, or persistent staining, to ensure effective mopping.

- Regular Checks: Make it a habit to check brushes and filters weekly, especially if you have pets, to prevent clogs and maintain suction power.
- Mop Pad Care: For best mopping results, pre-wet the mop pad before attaching it to the water tank.
- Filter Longevity: While HEPA filters should not be washed, gently tapping them to dislodge dust can help extend their effective life between replacements.
