A Tuya Zigbee hub is required. Ensure your Zigbee hub is already set up and connected to the app. Then, follow the app's instructions to add a new sub-device (the Smart Brightness Thermometer) to your Zigbee network.


5. Operating the Device
5.1 Real-time Monitoring
Once paired, the device will display real-time luminance, temperature, and humidity on its screen and transmit this data to the Smart Life App. You can view current conditions directly on the device or remotely via the app.

5.2 Historical Data
The Smart Life App provides clear data change curves for luminance, temperature, and humidity over day, month, and year. This feature helps you monitor environmental trends and make informed decisions for your home.

5.3 Smart Automation and Linkage
The device can be integrated with other smart devices via the Smart Life App to create intelligent automation scenarios:
- Humidifier Control: Automatically turn on/off humidifiers based on preset humidity levels.

- Device not pairing (Zigbee) or not linking with other Zigbee devices: Verify that your Tuya Zigbee hub is powered on, connected to the internet, and properly configured in the Smart Life App. Ensure the device is within the Zigbee network range.
- Wireless remote control not working (Bluetooth version): A Bluetooth hub is required for wireless remote control functionality. Ensure a compatible Bluetooth hub is connected to the sensor and configured in the app.
- Inaccurate readings: Ensure the device is placed in an optimal location, away from direct sunlight, heating/cooling vents, open windows, or other sources that might interfere with accurate temperature, humidity, or light readings.
- No data updates in App: Check the device's battery level. For Zigbee devices, ensure the hub is online. For Bluetooth devices, ensure your phone's Bluetooth is active and near the device, or a Bluetooth hub is connected for remote access.

- For optimal performance and accurate readings, place the sensor in a central location within the room, away from direct sunlight, heating vents, or open windows.
- Utilize the historical data curves in the Smart Life App to identify patterns in your environment and fine-tune your smart home automation rules for maximum efficiency and comfort.
- When choosing between the Bluetooth and Zigbee versions, consider your existing smart home ecosystem. If you already have a Tuya Zigbee hub, the Zigbee version offers broader compatibility and network stability. For simpler setups, the Bluetooth version can connect directly to your phone.
